I attended a lecture at the library in Yuma on the subject of the historical use of camels by the military in the US. So interesting! I was surprised to learn that the military still use them today, but for a very different purpose. They use them to train military dogs for use in the Middle East countries, so that the dogs will be accustomed to the look and scent of camels.

I Have really enjoyed your wonderful travel videos!! I am almost 80 years old and I have only seen most of California, Nevada, and Some parts of Idaho!!!! I have traveled to Florida, lived there for almost a year but never got to go much of anwhere. As for the States we drove through on the way to Florida, we didn;t do any sightseeing so I have no real idea of what each state looked like! I have resigned myself to watching you travel, and I love it!!! Did you know that Virgina City Nevada had camel races> I don't know if they still have them but I had many friends who raised and raced their camels, Well, all for now, Happy traveling, stay safe, and I look forward to your next video!!!!

❤The Mongolian Camels have the additional hump for more water storage and provides the benefit with a back rest that the typical African do not. They are also more suited for the lower temperature ❤
