Quechua (MH100) 2-Person Tent by Decathlon - How Much?!

Thank you thank you Excellent answer. On my side on this MH100 tent. I removed the rods in favor of a single walking pole.. My tent has been outside in my garden for 35 days.. Lots of rain and very strong wind.. No problems outside or inside no rainwater, no humidity. Only very comfortable inside and plenty of room for bivouac equipment. Палатка для 1 человека - отличная. Использую два года и в шторм, и в дождь. Заменил дуги и колышки на алюминиевые. Поставил оттяжку на заднюю стенку тента. Палатка весит 2,1 кг !

Γεια σου φίλε μου και συγχαρητήρια για τα ωραία θέματα που "ανεβάζεις" στο κανάλι σου. Τη συγκεκριμένη σκηνή την έχω πάνω από 1 χρόνο και λειτουργεί μέχρι στιγμής απροβλημάτιστα, καλοκαίρι και φθινόπωρο που την έχω δοκιμάσει. Έχω αντικαταστήσει τα πασαλάκια της με αλουμινίου και τη θήκη της με ένα dry bag. Πέρα από το γεγονός πως μειώθηκε το βάρος, μειώθηκε και ο χώρος που πιάνει στο σακίδιο. Έψαξα να αλλάξω τα fiber glass με αλουμινίου για να μειώσω ακόμα περισσότερο το βάρος αλλά δεν έχω καταφέρει να βρω κάτι που να ταιριάζει. Θα το εκτιμούσα αν με βοηθούσες στο συγκεκριμένο θέμα. Τη σκηνή τη συστήνω ανεπιφύλακτα σε οποιονδήποτε θέλει κάτι φθηνό και τίμιο για να περάσει την ώρα του σε ορεινές περιοχές αλλά όχι στη θάλασσα, ειδικά τους καλοκαιρινούς μήνες. Συνέχισε το πολύ καλό έργο σου.

Hello my friend and thank you very much 😊🙏🏼 I’m happy you have had a good experience with this tent and are managing to reduce the weight. I think swapping the poles for aluminium versions would be great. I have not yet found any that are the exact size. However, Decathlon do sell individual aluminium pole sections. You just need to calculate how many you would need. This might work out quite expensive though. www.decathlon.com.gr/en/p/326623-57078-aluminium-tent-pole-section-mt900-tent-o-83-mm-x-325-cm-black.html In the end, it might be better to buy a similar sized but lighter tent e.g. NatureHike Cloud up 2. Yes this tent is more expensive, but to buy or custom make aluminium poles, might cost just as much. Sorry I couldn’t give you an easy fix. I will keep looking for cheap aluminium poles that would fit this tent. If I find something, I will let you know. All the best 😊👍🏼🙏🏼

Got to be honest looks a good tent Jono cheap but some good features (the roll it comes is a great idea (the lack of pegs for the guy lines is odd to say the least???) But decent Great review as always Best regards Simon 🤠🙏🏼🏔️

The Fresh&Black version of this tent is excellent. White on the outside so it doesn't heat up in sunlight. Black on the inside, really dark, great if you're like me and sleep until noon :)

May be a budget price but it's not a bad tent. Used last year at download and was alright for just me. Don't think it would have been big enough for too.I haven't tested it in rain but I'm the red hot weather it was baking me, couldn't stay in it long when sun was out

There’s only one entrance to the tent, so you just need to match up the door of the inner, with the door on the fly sheet. 🏕️👍🏼

Hello 👋🏼 Nothing is particularly bad about this tent. Yes it’s cheap and because of this there is very little mesh on the inner tent (mesh is more expensive). This means it will be very warm inside on a sunny day, due to lack of ventilation. The floor material reminds me of a cheaper tarp. Totally fine, but I’m unsure how well it will stand up to long term wear and tear. The poles are also fibreglass not aluminium (cheaper). But if you want a very functional tent for spring - autumn, then this tent is fine…. and it won’t break your budget. It is fantastic value and I don’t know how they make it for such a low price. What I would say, is that if you want a tent for multiple yearly trips (in all weathers), which will last a few years…. Pay a little more money for an upgrade. I hope that helps. All the best 😊🏕️

I was skeptical by price at first but I survived a festival in it for 5 days and it's still useable now. Space isn't too bad if it's just you. My only issue was it got too hot in the sun but quality wise it's good for the price

Yes that is true, especially if you have good weather (unless you are at a camp site and you want privacy). I often camp in the mountains and the weather can be unpredictable. For those camping in the UK, a fly is always needed 🌧️🤪
