Then all of a sudden they come out with this pop disco nonsense, same as everybody and their brother was doing in the 80's. We were all in the "disco sucks!" vibe - but here comes Queen jumping right on that pop bandwagon. Hot Space was a gut punch. Talk about "reduce you to a muzak-fake machine". 🤦🏼‍♀️ It was like they took away the totally unique hard rockers we loved and replaced them with the damn Village People. I was gutted. Hated it.

It would have to be an upscale by default as Video was natively shot in a standard definition format. The ‘data’ just isn’t there for a true 1080P (or higher) output. Shooting in HD Video format could’ve made for a better quality but I’m not even sure true HD Video was an available option in 1982 as it was impractical for analog recordings, which I assume this was.
