This song has been said to be one of the most joyful songs ever. On that level it really is. It's full of energy, of optimism and the celebration of life! However, Brian May wasn't sure about the song because, however we take it today, it's actually Freddie's celebration of his new, shall we say 'lifestyle' that basically centred around certain nightclubs. Brian and the other guys in the band were worried about Freddie's involvement in these things, thinking that he was going out of control. That said, when accepted for the sound of the song alone, it's such a joy filled song. Just ignore the sexual innuendo.

no one had a problem with Freddies let me entertain you off the same album only this one Brain said in a few earlier interviews his issue was that it had gay overtones and he had a go at Freddie over it Brian also said his issue with DSMN was he saw it as separatism. I think he was worried how it would effect the band no one else is saying there was concern over him at this time but yes he had been introduced to NY night clubs when he wrote this he was in a relationship with Joe who he had left a 3 year relationship with David for Brian just thinks it sounds better to say he disliked it out of concern than gay overtones and separatism but he should just stick to what he had said it was different times then there was nothing to suggest he was ' going out of control'

Brian has also made it clear he didn't like the lack of guitar! He wanted more but Freddie said no He wanted it to be piano driven Brian ignored him and wrote guitar for it anyway but Freddie still said no I think Brians still salty over it

It's pointless requesting stuff as you always react to whatever you want anyway, no matter how quick you comment. I always used to recommend stuff almost daily, related to whatever you were watching... For example: 1 - The *2 Bradford Fire charity singles* (to raise money for the unit set up after the biggest football stadium fire in history) on your reactions to *You'll Never Walk Alone* and *Disasters.* 2 - The *Black Dyke Brass Band* (aka the most successful brass band in the world) on your reactions to *Brass Band* videos. 3 - Better *comedians* and *comedy shows* on your reactions to *British comedy* etc I gave up requesting a month or two ago. Plus your channel has declined massively, just like most of the other channels who react or reacted to British TV, who also ignore requests and watch the same overrated nonsense again and again. Patiently waits for someone to say stop criticising, and unsubscribe if I don't like the content.
