I find his songs during the last year or so of his life, so painful to listen to. His voice changed a lot. He doesn't have that deep richness we are use to hearing. Sounds frail in some ways being higher pitch. To know he was singing these songs, and that he was dying and would never hear their release makes me feel sick to my stomach. I just want to say that somewhere: Queen was amazing band, they hardly have weak album (well, Hot Space really is close to being weak except, of course, Under Pressure), but A Night at the Opera and Innuendo are, hands down, the bestest of theirs.

Переслушивал недавно альбомы Queen. С The Miracle начинается странная тенденция в звучании. Появляется нечто зловещее. На The Miracle это в подложках синтовых. На этом альбоме злоба больше в трагичность уходит, а Made in heaven прям зловещий-зловещий.
