One of my favorite songs over the decades, thanks for reacting. Queen had hits in so many different genres of music, I now understand how people, who grew up in later generations, had trouble realizing all those great songs came from one insanely talented band.

Fun fact, Roger Taylor didn't want to do this song. He hated the line "I'm Happy at Home". He famously said "We're a rock & roll band not a knitting circle"!! Love my Roger!!

Happy Birthday! John Deacon (bass player who wrote this wonderful song) learned to play piano for this and used a Wurlitzer electric piano. He had to learn because this is the sound he wanted and Freddie refused to play anything but a grand piano. He hated electric! But, you have to admit, it makes the song. However, when they did it live, they used the grand!

This is Johns the bassit,he had got married in 75 This song is on their 75 album night of the opera,reached no 7 uk Its been used in a lot of films and adverts Freddie refused to play the Wurlitzer electronic piano John couldn't play piano so he took it home to learn! And he ended up composing and writting this song! I think Freddie offered to record it on the grand but John prefered to record it on the wurlitzer
