This was done by Queen in tribute to John Lennon the night after he was murdered.
The audio is on the bootleg 2-CD "Perfume Came Naturally from Wembley", recorded by an audience member Dec.
8th, with "Imagine" added from the Dec.
9th performance. (Because of the 5-hour time difference, Queen didn't hear about John's death until the next morning).
However the video of this audio isn't exist.
I made this video from Montreal 1981 since I wanted to commemorate.
So this is not real. It's imaginary.
Imagine that this video is real and enjoy.
*I added extra shouting sound because of lenth of video.

I was there that night (skipped out of boarding school to go and didnt get caught!). What I remember was that when he started singing (and he had a lyric sheet he was holding up) the crowd started cheering and never stopped for almost the entire song. Very unlike a British crowd who usually like to sing, but dont cheer much after the music starts. Very emotional. Also he didnt announce it--just came back from a break at some point in the conference and they started playing--because it was guitar not piano, it took a moment for me at least to realize what it was they were playing

@@Love-xl9ep For the last time I wont be replying to any further deluded rants, can't believe I'm even bothering. John Lennon was shot around 3.00 AM UK time, the concert that night started around 7.30 - 7.45pm best part of 17 hours after he was shot, the band knew along with everyone else by lunchtime on the day of the concert that he was dead, he sung the song as a tribute BECAUSE HE WAS DEAD, I don't need a nutter telling me differently especially when you were most likely not even born then so get a life & move on ffs.

pumphol Queen Live Compilations let me elaborate the description says “this is not fake this is imaginary just imagine it was real and enjoy” it also says “because of the 5 hour time difference queen did not know about lennons death until the next morning” you dont tribute someone you think is alive so therefore making this untrue and not a tribute i rest my case now fuck off
