Freddie's voice does have healing powers. He can influence your physical and mental well being. I have named it the 'Freddie Effect'. I have seen strong male reactors break down in tears while listening to him. Goosebumps and shivers are a psychosomatic reaction. Queen is my niche and I could fill an ocean with the tears I have cried . Thank you for your kind words.- btw: My hubby has seen them live in Seattle and forgot his camera on base in Ft.Lewis 😂

Dear, I love this song, is one of my favourites! And yes darling, I saw Queen, Freddie, live in Rock in Rio 85, the 2 nights and never in my life I'll forget this extraordinary experience! I love Queen to the end of my life, and beyond...(if this is possible) big hug to you! ❤

HI Christopher! I don’t have a “live Queen” experience (I wish I did!) …but this is an AMAZING, TRUE story that I read in the comments awhile back: A woman shared that she has a young son who is severely autistic… There had been NO success in trying to “connect” with him verbally, emotionally, etc. One thing this mother had been trying, was to play all different kinds of music for him: EVERY time she put ANY kind of music on, her little boy would literally HIT her, put his hands over his ears, and scream “STOP!” Then one day, she put on some Queen music to try out (I’m sorry, she didn’t say what song it was): Her son immediately began moving to the music! Ever since then, he always asks to have only Queen music played for him. (Apparently a lot of different songs, as long as it’s Queen/Freddie Mercury.) He always SMILES and starts moving with the song… This is the only music that he’s had a positive response to. As I said… TRUE STORY.🙏🏻

When Queen came to my area I didn't have the means to go. But I did see the Montreal concert on IMAX in January! "In the Lap of the Gods" (not "revisited") is lovely and showcases Roger's signature dog whistle. I recommend the Official Lyric Video but the shortened 1974 live performance at the Rainbow is worth checking out! Thanks.

A Queen concert was something so special that it is hard to put into words. I have been to so many concerts in my lifetime, I lived most of my life in Los Angeles so every top band came there to play and I have always loved music so I have seen nearly every great band or performer. Queen still holds first place for me because there is a kind of connection with the band that is just not the same with others, not even Michael Jackson. Freddie pulls your energy then gives it back to you then takes it again. You really do feel like you are the only one that Freddie is seeing, playing to and singing for. He was magical, a born entertainer, with voice like none other and a cutting sense of humor that was always so unexpected and could be missed if we weren't all so fixated on him. Queen gave everything for every performance and it was the most thrilling show anyone could ever see, in my opinion. The afterglow of the show lasted for days. Thank you for your reaction and giving us your time. There is another "In The Lap Of The Gods" (does not say revisited) that you should also react to, it is completely different but also fantastic. Roger uses his falsetto brilliantly in that one and makes it seem so effortless, even while he is playing the drums with precision and perfection.

I was very lucky to have seen Queen with Freddie a few times in the 70s. They really were this good. I went to a lot of concerts but Queen was the very best. Freddie really sounded this good. I'm so glad that they are now so popular because they really deserved it then and still today.

I loved your reaction! I feel the same about Freddie’s voice and the queen performances, they are healing. I saw Queen this last year when they toured with Adam Lambert. It was a beautiful concert. I know it’s definitely not the same without Freddie, but Adam is very respectful and definitely pays homage to Freddie. I did watch the Montreal 1981 concert when it was at the IMAX in January. I have seen it on KZbin before, but it was definitely an experience in IMAX. If you haven’t done so, I highly recommend watching that whole concert. I did see that you’ve reacted to another one bites the dust from that show, but I strongly suggested either watching the whole thing, or also watching somebody to love live from that show.

Freddie’s way of life was one day at a time. He never let a moment pass him by.

I was fortunate enough to see Queen three times during the 1970/80s. I was in High School when this album came out and I saw them at the New Haven Coliseum twice in 1974 and 1977. Both shows were incredible and the talent and energy that they had was simply unmatched. I've had the chance to see many artists over the years and I can say without a doubt that during the 70s Queen was the greatest show on earth. Freddie was this good vocally all the time and the band was essentially flawless. The last time I saw them was in 1984 and they were good, but the style of music had changed (not necessarily to my liking) but they were still fun to see.
