I met her once outside of McDonald’s on 51st & Broadway, in NYC. Must’ve been around ‘99 or 2000 & she was walking around with about 4 or 5 friends. First thing outta my mouth was “oh shit, Queen Latifah”? She laughed & said in her smooth voice “hey baby, how you doing? Hope you’re having a good night”. She was cool as hell, even being a star at that point. She said hi to anyone that recognized her, shook hands, took pics, all while just trying to enjoy a walk in the city.
