Damn Lisa Killed it, if I had to use one word to describe her part it would be "REPEAT" !!!! I herd the version with all the black female singers of the 90's but the female rap version hit me harder. oooohhh I wish that black women were like this today, expressing their creative talents together and not hatting each other!!! Lisa's part hit me the most she always went straight to the point and didn't sugar coat it R.I.P Lisa "Left-Eye" Lopes

#LaurynHill was a relative unknown in the music world back then (in 1995). Although, she may have been more known as an actress (or the little girl who got booed on {Showtime at the Apollo}), most people didn't know she made music even though she released an album with her group #Refugees , later known as The #Fugees . It was until a year or less later that she (with her group) achieved her breakthrough.

Now this is what hip hop is all about not what we have today.....back then they touch on real issues and not foolishness that current rappers rap about today. Im 16 but I know real and good music when I hear one.

Rachel Ray young Queen it's so refreshing to see a comment from an awakened soul that can hear! Kiss yo mama baby girl and tell her that she has been doing her duty correctly and someone in the 313 sees.. Stay conscious little one...loving you!👑

Lisa Left-eye Lopes always had a hard flow and switched flows a lot 1:47 - 2:29 . She rapped better than half of all these women on this cut here. They’re legends to but Lisa was something else. Her tone and flow is something else. Anytime she raps T-Boz & Chili always smiled because they fed off her energy. I always loved her flow rip 🫶🏾.
