I cry every time I watch this video just knowing Freddie has really gone! It’s also sad this is the very last video John Deacon would ever play with the band he left the band after this video was made and he is sorely missed as well!! John Deacon took Freddie s death the hardest and just couldn’t continue without Freddie! 💔 RIP Freddie

You can see how emotional it was for John … almost pointless. In fact, he retired from Queen right after the making of this video!! I can’t even imagine! 😭😭😭😭😭 The song is an incredible tribute to our Freddie & their Queen brother!! Roger wrote a song called OLD FRIENDS that you should check out! And Brian wrote a song called RESURRECTION about how he rose from the depths of depression after Freddie & his father passed away about the same time!! 💖💖 Thank you for your reaction!! 🌺🌸🌼🌺🌸🌼

Sensational. It's been a while! Queen continues to transcend everything and spread so much love, joy, strength, creativity, confidence, and unity to all who listen! The timing of when they released the song also made it a tribute for Gianni Versace, Princess Diana, and anyone else whose life was cut tragically short. In case your wondering, the illustration is of Icarus from Greek mythology. It was clever of them to make the lyrical reference in "they're only flying too close to the sun." Brian and Roger have such beautiful and criminally underrated singing voices! "No one but you" truly showed that Freddie was like a brother to them, not just their frontman and that their bond was so strong, not even death could break it. Their sorrow is so clear in their faces, voices, and in every note they played/sang and were doing everything they could to not break down crying, not that I would blame them if they did. The close-up of the champagne glass on the piano was in homage to Freddie, who would sometimes toast the audience during special gigs. In 2019, Brian and his wife went to Freddie's birthplace of Zanzibar on pilgrimage to visit Freddie's childhood home, school, retrace some of his childhood steps and even visit the hospital where Freddie and his sister were born. Alongside making this video and recording the song, before he became a recluse, John participated in a Queen collaboration with Bejart+Ballet for life in honor of Freddie who was a ballet and opera enthusiast. Here is the making of video link. kzbin.info/www/bejne/j5WuiqOlgct2d5o I totally agree, Freddie has ascended to immortality through his music, kindness, generosity, love and all the lives he touched for being unapologetically true to himself! I also totally agree that John (who prefers to stay out of the spotlight and live in peace and quiet), Brian (whom I can never gush enough about) and Roger are absolutely priceless and truly beautiful gems of humananity inside and out! May they continue to live long and prosper! Bless them all!

Please stay well and I hope you and those you love will get through it and indeed that the beautiful India will get through it sooner rather than later. This one is a real tear jerker for me too. A wonderful song and great vocals by both guys , especially Brian. And to add to the poignancy, Brian played Freddie's grand piano - the one you usually see on stage at the live shows.
