I'm so sick of the Paul Rodgers disrespect. He's still after all these years one of the best rock singers on planet Earth. He and Freddie could not have been any more different. They were polar opposites to say the least. But in this case, opposites do attract.

I saw Brian May in a small venue in Atlanta prob 20 years ago. Freddy had passed. Brian played " Love of My life" the whole place took over singing, the band was quiet as was Brian. The whole place was quiet and in tears, one could hear a pin drop on a carpet! Brian said " Freddy would kill me if I didn'tplay this.... Brian broke into " Tie Your Mother Down"! Total silence then all screaming, clapping in time with the the music and total giant smiles!!!

Singing those two songs he wrote, pretty magical really. Freddie never got to sing These Are the Days of Our Lives to a live audience but it is very poignant and apt when Roger sings it here.

These two band's function as one better than anyone I've ever seen. I know Freddy is smiling from ear to ear. Freddy was the best ever , he made a way and he done so very humbly. Humble yourself before the Lord and He will lift you up. That's what God did. He brought Freddy into His own presence., after all made each of us for His own good pleasure. Pure Arrogance. The Bass, along with the Drummer, is the Heart of the Band. Bryan should sing all the Songs, the Bass belongs in the Stage Light. Paul Rogders can change the Guitar Strings.

I miss Paul. He did such a brilliant show. Adam Lambert may deny, but he comes across trying to be copy Freddie, and doesn't succeed. That never happened with Paul. He had his own unique voice,, which flitted!.

First off he's in his 70s so fuck off. Second, it's a secondary percussionist. Sure, on some parts he comes in on hi-hat and snare to help Roger, but 75% of what he does is completely separate from Roger.

Paul Rogers: so far the best of the post-Freddy singers with Queen: he did not try to emulate Freddy but did bring his own character and voice to the set, better than Lambert (though he is a good singer, as well)

Thanks for putting up the concert. It's really interesting to see it. Vocally, Paul Rodgers is a disaster for me - he has a hard time hitting the tones and doesn't even come close to Freddie's level of stage show or vocal. How amazing that Queen in Adam Lampert has found a performer who match Freddy's stage show and is actually better vocally - Adam never becomes Freddie and doesn't match his level of writing music at all, then that´s not his job....
