This is the most level-headed interview I’ve seen in a long time. This lady has done her homework, and she’s also incredibly empathetic. I’m impressed by how even though she’s Palestinian, she also said she tries to put herself in the shoes of the Israelis and try to understand their perspective. Most people who support Israel don’t try to understand the Palestinian point of view, and most people who support Palestine don’t try to understand the Israeli point of view. Being able to do that shows a great deal of maturity, and it is necessary for any true diplomacy and peace to happen. I hope that she can help create a peaceful solution and end to the horrible things happening in Gaza. She is a better leader than any of the politicians in the world right now.

Every time Jordan welcomed Palestinian refugees since the nakba in 1948, Israel shuts the door and doesn't allow the Palestinians refugess to return back to their homes and lands.
