They are definitely in the top of the top groups. Very few bands are at that level. They have to be unique and not fit fully into any genre. My favorite band is Pink Floyd but Queen is right there.

This is the song that made me fall in love with Queen. I was a huge fan of the Highlander TV show as a teen, and this was one of two songs they played over the most tragic scenes. I had to know who sang it, and then I had to hear everything else they’d ever done. It’s still my favorite song by them to this day. Also, that man could wear a tux like nobody’s business.

it's the soundtrack from the first "Highlander" movie, with Christophe Lambert (if you haven't seen the movie, just don't hesitate, but only the first one). There were other little gems from that soundtrack, like "Princes of the Universe" (I'm sure you've heard this one!) or "One year of love", "Kind of magic". Beautiful sountrack for a wonderful movie. Too bad the following movies sucked but the tv series was good IMO. There are rumors of a Highlander reboot with Henry Cavill (Yes, Superman himself, lol). No, the sadness has to do with the story of the movie: it's about immortals who have to go on living while watching the ones they love die. "There can be only one", is the mantra of the movie, the immortals have to fight each other for "The Prize".

I was just watching your reaction to Somebody to Love and since that was a year ago I thought perhaps you'd be more l ikely to read comments from this reaction. You remarked about all the drinks on the piano. I've heard so many reactors mention this and since you are the only one that really seems to research the subjects and songs, I wanted to tell you that it was common practice in the US and obviously in the UK as well, for members of the audience to buy drinks for the band and have them delivered to the stage. Of course, the piano is the only place to display these drinks. You will occasionally see Freddy take a sip from one of these cups, but they're not there just for him and he didn't buy them for himself. I guess that practice has fallen out of favor these days, but it was a show of appreciation for the artists. Hope you will impart this information to you're viewers if you do more Queen reactions. Thank you for your reaction videos, they are always informative, as well as just good music.

The song was made for the movie “Highlander” about an immortal who loses the love of his life yet still chooses to go on and do great things. Good movie.
