Oh my gosh, I’m so happy that you’re back with a Queen Sunday! This is my favorite look of Freddie’s, it’s what he’s wearing in the live another one bites the dust and, we will rock you from Montreal, and he just cracks me up in it. I’ve seen people tell the story of why he wears this outfit, I guess he was basically removing different layers of clothes throughout this concert as an active rebellion. Whoever was making the video for this show that was recorded over two days wanted him to wear the same thing, and wanted people in the audience to have a dress code, and he did not agree with it. I am not a huge aficionado with Queen history, but I’ve seen that written a few times in the comments. In any case, they are amazing, I love John’s energy in this song, and Freddie was a GOAT!

I am so glad to see you back and doing Queen Sundays. Only Freddie could pull off white short-shorts and a bandana. Freddie was very impatient with being told what to do so this was a form of protest against management or the company who was recording this show. He is even barefoot. This is a solid banger of a song.

Yes he was confident yo just be him! Also they were being filmed but the director was interfering It was over 2 nights they were told to wear the same outfit so they could take bits from both and make it one video Also told the audience to stay seated and not be too loud That didnt go down well with them especially Freddie!

So glad you're back with Queen reactions! Others may have told you this, but the producers of this film wanted them to wear the same clothes and do the same movements and sing the same way on both nights. This was Freddy's 2nd night response. LOL! Queen were definitely masters of intricate music and layered harmonies but, boy could they ROCK!!

A hard rocking Roger tune, for sure. Freddie's performance was wild as it gets. Brian said he'd never seen Freddie so angry. Freddie's anger at the intrusive cameramen and probably other stuff, came out in lots of ways. Would love to watch your reaction to my favorite Roger song. It's Modern Times Rock 'n' Roll Live at the Rainbow March 1974. What a banger! It's relentless and way too short! I usually watch it over and over. It is filmed in 16mm combined optical print which gives it a whole different vibe. There is a section where the band is just glued together. Rad---OMG-- so glad seeing you again!!! 'Sheer Heat Attack' is a Queen album that transitions from their earlier 'thrash' and 'glam' rock towards 'Bohemian Rhapsody' and 'Day at the Races'. Such an important record towards creating the Band's brand!!! Your reactions are so good, than you 🙂

Montreal was not part of a tour. It was done by a company who was making a movie about Queen’s concert. The band was angry at the people making the movie & their management. They were doing two nights in Montreal. The wanted to take the best parts of each night. Freddie made it so there was no continuity between the 2 night by coming out in only his shorts on day 2.

So nice to be back with Queen. There are many undiscovered gems and surprises in their catalog. One song is the only Queen song where all three of the group's vocalists sang lead. 1. Freddie, 2. Roger, 3. Brian. The chorus-like harmony part in the middle of the song was done by the session singers. Please try it.
