This studio version of this song is mind blowing. It is also interesting because you actually get to see Brian and Roger singing the harmonies which is easy to miss in the live versions because Freddie is front and center. I love this song, every version I have ever heard including George Michael's version at the Freddie Mercury Tribute Concert. I love the way you have your studio set up, it is very peaceful and impressive at the same time, a good reflection of you.

I'm sure I'm one of the many comments on your reaction to that Live Version. Stating only that this particular song is so lovely, with all the sweet harmonies, the hand claps, Freddie's purer vocals. That I always recommend to view this one first. (And it's also fun to watch). THEN when someone does view the Live Versions, they can get a real feel for just how well this band (particularly Freddie) does in concert. Takes it to another level.

thanks, Rad! the studio version was Freddie's intention - the harmonies, etc.... but they pretty much eclipsed it with the live.. hard to choose a favorite!

Live versions are great, but there are certain studio versions that are very different. The studio version of "Love of MY Life" is worth a listen to. Thank you for doing this and thank you for your positive reactions, always!

Bro!! You are a great reactor! Since the day this song came out it is my close second best song Queen plays. Bohemian Rhapsody is the best!!! Under Pressure is a close third. It would be fun spending a couple days with you just showing you the best of my life’s soundtrack from 1955 to 1990! There is so much your generation missed out of the greatest music ever made! Your generation just was not exposed to this music. Thank gawd for KZbin and young men like your yourself exploring this music and keeping it alive!

2 OFFICIAL STUDIO VIDEO recommendations: "KILLER QUEEN" & "WHO WANTS TO LIVE FOREVER" . Both of these are Official Video versions so you still get to see them in action! In Killer Queen, Freddie's decked out in a fur coat and in Who Wants To Live Forever, Brian is on keyboards & even sings the opening chorus!

My very favorite version of this is at their concert at Milton Keynes Bowl 1982. Freddie's singing at the beginning is totally unbelievable, so moving and soulful. Please react to it soon!

I adored them growing up, saw them multiple times live, and to this day love their music. You should check out their earlier, weirder stuff. Queen II, and Sheer Heart Attack are amazing albums.

I love love love Queen. Being 60 I was able to follow them when they are around and they are and will always be the best live performers. The music is incomparable and I personally prefer the live stuff. But there is no denying the studio sound is also top of the tree. Nothing like them then and there has never been anything like them since. Thank you for sharing this track on here. Awesome.

A lot of the concert videos have great presence, but they were when Freddie's voice was starting to fail. The studio versions are the ones we fell in love with, and went out to buy.
