Brian has been playing Dvorak's New World Symphony in his solo for the past few years on and off. Last year when I saw Queen and Adam Lambert it was one of the highlights. Check out the Vancouver concert July 10/2019. The video is taken from the best angle to catch Brian standing on an asteroid with planets circling behind him.

I had the thrill of seeing Brian play with Roger in Adelaide in Feb. it’s something I will never forget. Both Brian and Roger are still incredible and Brian even smiled at me when I was yelling his name out at him.

I'm not taking anything away from Brian May. A brilliant guitar player. Queen also had a third instrument player offstage too. Spike Edney played keyboards and guitar offstage and occasionally the piano onstage too. This added to the great sound of the band during their concerts in the 80's.

Yes, this is why I prefer Rock Montreal from 1981 and earlier Queen. Last of just the four band members.

Great performance. Brian wrote another great one. The mag dedicated to this award was a lot of fun. Lots of info. Brian deserves. Rock lore says the boys teased him about how long his solos could run. Lol

my only complaint about jimmy... his playing was self indulgent. he played for himself... Brian continues to innovate and re engineer for different sounds for the sake of the music.
