This is a beautiful and smooth, huge hit song written by John Deacon for his lovely wife, Veronica. They had 6 children together and are still married today. John didn't write too many songs but the ones he did write were mostly hits. Freddie once said he was starting to get nervous about that. Thank you for your reaction.

John wrote quite a few. Under Pressure and Another One Botes The Dust came about because of John sitting around the studio making up sensational bass riffs.

I feel so honored that you reacted to the songs I recommended! They're so different from each other, and to be written by the same person really shows off John's abilities. I don't think he gets enough credit sometimes. He's soft-spoken and just kind of bops in place in his dad sweaters. But what a genius!

I love that John Deacon shows his versatility by playing the grand piano for the video. Such a talented man.

Nothing better than seeing Freddie slouched over a microphone stand staring into the camera groaning 😁😀 Mardy Brian and Roger not wanting to sing the chorus but Freddie said it's being done. Good ole Freddie 👏👏

When I hear this song I like to think about special friends in my life!! Like sitting in a lounge chair appreciating the sun and blue skies!! John wrote this song for his wife Veronica!! “I’m happy at home … ” (Roger spews) 🤣 This was one of my mom’s favs Queen songs! 🥰

It's a really rare moment to see Freddie standing in front of a mic, no running, no dancing, but delivering beautiful emotions. Pls, check out Pain Is So Close To Pleasure with Freddie's falsetto.

Such a sweet song. We had this at our wedding song, played right after we said our vows. I agree with you, Freddie made this song his own, although John wrote it. It was his rare talent, singing songs like he wrote it and with the emotions it deserves. Imagine having a song written for you and sung by the great Freddie Mercury? Wow! BTW, long ago, when I was a kid, I got to meet John, he was very respectful, a bit surprising to me, with him being a rock star!.

Another good song by Queen. Beautiful and heartfelt lyrics. I have a request - “Dreamboat Annie” by Heart. It was on their first album. Thanks for your reviews.

One of their bigger hits in America. Not rock and roll enough for Brian and Roger at the time, but eventually they both realized how great John's songs were to Queen and their catalog.

No 7 uk No 16 US But a lot of American reactors who didn't think they knew the song recognised it It might still get radio play but I think its used on adverts or tv Wiki Simpsons and family guy!

Heyyyy Friend! 😱 My YT somehow messed up when I changed phones so I had to redo my subs. I happened to see this when I searched for Queen reactions so I subscribed very fast! Good to see you again! Love this song by sweet John for his wife. You already know how I feel about this band. John came through with some very sweet songs that were honestly necessary, IMO. They expanded their diversity which has become so iconic when you look at their back catalog! I will see you next time! 💗

My husband and I wanted this as our wedding song but neither of us were good dancers and didn’t want to dance to it. So we had it as our entrance song when we first entered as a married couple. A lot of Queen songs are used in commercials because Queen licenses their songs out as a source of income.

John Deacon wrote this song about his wife & played an electric piano on this track, which was a popular choice at the time, with many rock songs by the likes of Stevie Wonder and Steely Dan using one. The piano was either a Fender Rhodes or a Wurlitzer, or possibly a combination of both - sources vary. Deacon wanted to write a song incorporating the instrument, but Freddie did not want to play it. "I refused to play that damn thing," Mercury said. "It's tiny and horrible and I don't like them. Why play those when you have a lovely superb piano." Omg I'm 🤣🤣

"Together with her tessitura, it identifies her potential voice type as dramatic contralto, the deepest, darkest, and most powerful contralto voice." So disrespectful. Why are you talking about Diana ´s voice here? This is Queen song, talk about Freddie ´s voice. You are everywhere with this same...troll TALANT

@@Danielik25 Because I think that talents need to be helped, because mediocrity has already occupied everything.

@@Danielik25 and by the way, it is assumed that Diana's father is Azerbaijani, and this is the territory of Ancient Persia, hence the parents and parents of Freddie Mercury, in addition, I was fond of the work of the Queen group 30 years ago, I had all their albums. Good music and good musicians are very rare, especially now, so I'm just stating that you are the one who is extremely disrespectful and aggressive towards young talents.
@7Taric2 жыл бұрын
@@Danielik25, of course, Queen, Freddie Mercury and hundreds of other famous great bands and singers deserve our attention. You can and should talk about them! But how can we learn about new talents if we stick only to your point of view and pay attention exclusively to established and legendary musicians?
