This is something I've overlooked for all these years, but this is the closest thing we have to a Queen performance in 1989. Freddie there, singing with his half mic stand, graciously walking all over the stage and controlling our attention as the great performer he was. This is how things should continue to up to this day, it's such a shame he's not here with us.

Nic M agree it was a great look. However it wasn’t a choice. At this time Freddie had progressed to full blown aids. He was getting sarcoma lesions on his jawline. He grew it to hide it.
