Native Nfree I noticed from other videos that he be skipping the projects. Specially the South Bronx one. Take ride through courtlandt ave starting on 149 street going north. Go through the Mott Haven projects and also Patterson projects on 145/146 streets and college ave. Go to that area on 168st to 171st Webster ave to Third ave. That’s an area you can’t miss and is all high rise project buildings. Take a ride through the whole Washington ave and also through Brook ave. Go to Jackson ave around 152/156 streets then go through the McKinley projects around 163rd street and Tinton ave. On Jackson ave you can start from 146/145 streets and go up 152nd street/Westchester ave. Thank you.

@Ryan Williams dude evidently you never experienced NYC back then, I'm not praising the violence but I'm saying the whole hiphop movement & what it represents was untouchable back then & NYC with all its trash & overcrowded population was part of its mystic...it was before social media & people migrated outside to hang & get into numerous activities & yes it was definitely not all good but again NYC was the epitome of hiphop...today these kids rap & want to make there neighborhoods seem like it's a hood in the 1980's or 1990's but the fact remains they are only fabricating today...

There's nothing cool about violence, poverty, despair, poor schools , hood life, Hempstead is rough(all over not just terrace Ave) ,as well as about 8-10 other spots in the 2 long Island counties. Hempstead, wyndanch are among 10 nys school districts along with south Bronx, Buffalo with worst school district. It's corny arguing over who's hood is hardest, anyone saying its paradise must have never lived here, it calmed downed like 3/4 of what it was back in the day ,it was more treacherous 15-20+ years back, it's respected from borough dudes from the streets to the pen where 80% of inmates up north are combined from NYC, 2 long Island counties.

Rockaway is not that bad in my opinion, I think it's a nice area (In 2020 era) compared to some other neighborhoods in New York City. Of course there's garbage and crimes here and there, but that's because there is lots of people that are all squeezed onto one small peninsula. There is covered up businesses and stuff because there used to be much more crime but not much these days. I would totally feel safe walking down the street to a supermarket at night in this area. The suburban theme, beaches, variety of shops, and easy subway connections make me want to move to Rockaway someday.

We used to walk to some parts of the hood that are later in the video to buy cigarettes because we were underage. We would wait outside one bodega and ask random people to buy us smokes. One day a very large man said sure he would buy us all cigarettes and he took our money and when he came outside he didnt have the right cigs that we liked and we said uhh you didnt get the right stuff and he said I did.
