That same storm woke me up with the thunder. It rained with heavy rain, hitting the air conditioner with the sound. I even recorded it at 2AM.

How so nice, Scott...you finally got a decent Tstorm early this morning of which I saw on lightning charts/radar....after your nice manuscript to me a few days ago...and I myself...got a nice 27-minute video of my own Tstorm here in southern RI also today, 9/13/22......good lightning and rumblers...well worth seeing....albeit my 6/13/22 and 8/26/22 was just a tiny titch more captivating... and Scott..mark this down...9/16/22...the very 12th anniversary of your incredible 9/16/10-Tstorm/microburst VIDEO......right where you and I first met....12 years already...like....wwwwwowwwww~~~!!

Yes we finally got a decent thunderstorm here yesterday morning after a very lackluster season. Glad to hear you got some stuff as well, and I will definitely check it out over the coming days!

My sister got woken up by thunder in Glen Cove area. Knowing me, I would stay up all night to see this.

Thankfully it happened right about the time I normally get up in the morning anyways. So I didn't have to sacrifice any sleep.

What is the explanation that you cannot hear thunder to account for all the lightning bolts within the cloud masses

The lightning itself was several miles away so it took a bit of time to get to me. You can hear thunder at the end of the video, around the 1:50 mark.

Nice comment to Scott's own video from 9/13/22....((today is the 100th anniversary to the day of the hottest temp ever on Earth...136 degrees in Al Zizzyah, Lybia, N Africa..from 9/13/1922...))... anyways..I too got a nice Tstorm video from here in southern RI...lotsa thunder.....
