i think Between The Buried and Me would compete for that crown. Best sounding live band I've heard yet. They have some live videos that sound almost tighter than studio and I mean it. I loved seeing QOTSA in Toronto it was a nice sounding show. I also wasn't a fan of the venue however.

Saw them front row in Philly this past summer (have some vids on my channel if anyone’s interested). I’m 35 and been a fan since I blind bought Lullabies the week it came out in 2005. It was utterly surreal to finally be seeing them live, much less to be mere feet from Joshua and directly in front of his mic for the entire gig. They were phenomenal live and it was one of the greatest shows I’ve ever been to.

We just took our 3 kids ages 18-23 to see QOTSA this past Tuesday on 12-12 for our wedding anniversary and it wasn't the first time I've seen them but it was the best because our kids were all there with us. Now I've got to find a way to be able to take my son to the Chili Peppers. I was able to take him to the Foo Fighters that last August before Taylor passed. I saw both The FF and the RHCP back in 2000 right after my oldest was born. To my kids being able to see all 3 bands in concert is the perfect musical trifecta lol.
