I've heard mixed opinions about the IE200, people either love it or hate it. Apparently the dual-tuning design leads to major bass leakage issues that are remedied by tip rolling or tape modding. Gizaudio did a breakdown of how to solve the issue. Would be curious to hear your thoughts on that

Thank you for doing these reviews man. I found your channel months ago and fell down the rabbit hole of competitive IEMs. Began looking into the EJ07M, which led me looking into to the Yanyin Canon and the Tansio Mirai Sands. Ended up purchasing the Yanyin Moonlight. It's supposedly an improved Yanyin Canon with all the rave reviews I read at the time. This video confirms I made a great choice. Actually kinda stopped gaming, but they're amazing for music. In terms on IEMs, I can't fault it. Looking forward to more comparisons; keep up the great work!

What iem would you recommend for games like PUBG and Tarkov? I'll do occasional WZ sessions, but not serious. I don't plan on picking up Apex/FN/Val/CSGO.

I don't play Apex but they he describes the sounds can get be vertical left & right and all over the place any of these should do well in pubg. Off his recommendation I told someone that played pubg to try there Dunu Kima Single 10mm off him liking them. For those games up above & they seem to love them for pubg I have asked them 3 times on Twitch in pubg pro chat room that I mod for ever time they still said yep I love them. Pro players all so use HRTF on. I my self play but can't for the most part use IEMS. When with his choice in headphones as well the DT 900 pro x open backs. Open backs are great for fps gamming wider sound stage as well her thing better from a far. And I like the Dt 900 pro x 32 ohms easy to drive. On another note if you see pro pubg players using IEMS it's not so much they sound better for gamming it's because at events they have to to put full size headphones with white noise of there iems so they do not hear others players comms. So that is why they use them when they get back events in there streams and let me tell you like no pro player looks at reviews they have money if they buy what ever it is no matter the cost because they can. This pro play I mod for has the new IE 900 and never looked at reviews at all ever. So I would go with anyone of these IEMS that he rates for those other games. And you should be fine. I give others in whispers on twitch likes Fresh reviews all the time for inears & head phone reviews so listen to fresh like they should others just want what ever they see the pro players using so I can't change everyone's minds on things they think pros know some secrets for good sound on pubg the games audio is kind shit from the start. But Good iems like the Dunu Kima on his list are or anything on his list are a better start than most pros even take. And as far as Tarkov the new audio no one seem to like at all might be even worse than pubg audio for sure. So I would go Dunu Kima if you really set on iems if not I love my DT 900 pro x would not trade them for anything. I just got the Simgot em6l and am liking it. I’m wondering how much of an upgrade the Canon 1 would be for both music and games. There’s a sale on the OG Canon for $314 which looks tempting. If you play around with different tips and/or tape up the vent on the side of the nozzle on the ie200 the bass and treble are both significantly improved. I doubt it would do much for gaming but it makes it one of the best iems for music under $300 and in my opinion even competing with some sets up to $500

It’s still a hard sell on the IE200. Modding has always been an integral part of this community, but the tape mod produces inconsistent results and that alone makes the IE200 a gamble. At the price point, there are just better options that work well out of the box.

Owning the Dunu Vulkans, would it be reasonable to upgrade to the Yanyin Canons or just go crazy and get Thieaudio Monarch MK2 / anything from 64 audio / Elysian x Effect Audio Gaea / QDC Gemini? Guessing it wouldn't be a night and day difference even with such a jump in price tag. The Vulkans are currently the most expensive IEM's I own so it kinda bothers me I have nothing to reference / compare it to. Cheers!

I went with the 3.5 default. If your amp has a balanced input I’d always go 4. You can always replace the cable with any size you want. But always go with what input your amp allows.

Any thoughts on Senn 6XX for over ear? I know your 560S ranks tops but I need something that will double for voice calls/music. I don't want to be an "audiophile" I just want a comfortable headset that I can finally game reliably in peace. I bought Arctis Nova Pro Wireless and although the sound is good for both music and gaming the fit is terrible. I even bought the Wicked Cushions and you still feel the nub and these stupid ass elastic headbands always slip forward on my head. I think I'm done with all of these "gaming" peripherals and going straight back to the audio grade stuff.

The 560s is much more versatile than the 6xx. The flat tuning lends itself to every use case, and you can use a basic dac/amp and get good results with the 560s. The 6xx won't sound exciting until you throw serious power at it. And even when powered properly, the 6xx has an intimate "3-blob" sound presentation that makes it very well suited for music, but a mediocre performer for gaming. Meanwhile, the 560s has angled drivers that give it a wider sound field and good separation. You should go for something like the 560s or DT900 pro X, unless you're prepared to invest serious money in source equipment

@@blank-jo1xp I bought 560S last night. It actually has a pleasant amount of bass, from the reviews you'd swear it was DEAD flat like some kind of walkman steelband on ear headset. I agree, it's very neutral and versatile. Now I've owned DT770 pro before and I'm plugging into the same crappy interface (UMC22) but it does get plenty loud with reasonable clarity and minimal distortion. I threw some EQ at it and it's crispy and nice for music and media. The comfort is amazing, exactly what I was looking for. In gaming, the directional audio is some of the best I've heard. The Arctis nova Pro's have a slight bit more detail and have a good sound stage and direction for small 40mm closed back but these sound more "natural". I don't mean to put the ANPW down, I feel like they are on the same level but tuned a bit differently in the sound department. I'm very curious what these 560S will sound like with a $100-200 DAC/AMP. I'm satisfied with my software EQ.. but curiosity has me. People say it makes the sound "more full" ... well that's vague. Lol Another thing for gaming is I had to EQ some of the bass out for competitive FPS. It has a very punchy amount for gun shots almost too much for competitive. It's my preference.

@@drewmorg. I agree with your assessment of the 560s' bass. But, I know lots of people find it to be bass-lite I think a DAC/AMP is worth it. The DAC portion improves the quality of the signal being fed to your headphones, and the Amp improves the level of control available to the drivers Practically speaking, you will hear things a lot clearer, and the dynamics will have better definition. Words will always be vague, there's no substitute for experience. But, Amazon has a return policy in case things don't work out

Rip Sennheiser it's so crazy they got bought out by a hear aid company years back you can look it it if you did not know fresh. They did ask the new company that but them & they said they will not change the headphone line on how Sennheiser are made. Crazy hear aid company took over yet they can't make good inears that work well for gamming 🤣And pro play I know just got the IE 900 they like them but they never look at reviews. Keep up the great work your my go to to whisper on Twitch when they think they what want some pro players have. Makes me laugh when they will not listen. But when they do they thank me later for sharing your video & info to them.
