Welcome back to Creature Chronicles! This week I went in search of an exceptionally rare creature... A GHOST SQUIRREL/a grey squirrel with albinism...

The quest is awesome, and love the vids, but how on this earth are you going to see every bird ever recorded in the wild in the uk 😭? Some of them will never even turn up again, perhaps trying to see every breeding, regularly visiting, and annual passage migrant species would be more achievable aha?

Thank you 🙏 Yeah you're right 😂 I've been meaning to make an updated, more attainable target so there's actually a chance of me completing this quest one day... I need to do some research into how many of those types of birds the UK has as there's not an obvious figure online..

@@CreatureChroniclesUK yeah, it’s probably about 250-300 species, but i could tell you which ones are consistently do-able on a yearly basis! If you had discord or anything like that I could send you a list tomorrow or the day after. Obviously up to you!

isn't there over 70,000 animals in the UK..? are you including fungi and microorganisms?
