Thanks for sharing your video. My husband and I went to Colonial Williamsburg on our 25th wedding anniversary in 1998. After visiting Visitor Center we took a carriage ride and back then it was first-come-first-serve for a carriage ride no reservations required times have changed.

The 1957 Visitor Center movie “The Story of a Patriot” starring Jack Lord Long before Hawaii5-9is available here on KZbin and was shown for decades at the Visitor’s Center!

Thanks for the video on the visitors center. It was closed when we went in May. We would definitely get an annual pas if we weren’t almost 600 miles away. I think there may be some kind of discount for Virginia residents? Speaking of the visitor center, I’ve read on some of the FB platforms that CW may close it permanently, which would be very sad imho. I really hope they open up more taverns like Shields. Rumor has it that Christiana Campbells is permanently closed😕. Still a fantastic place to visit and we had our first carriage ride last May. Look forward to more CW videos, send me lunch from The Cheese Shop!😁

Thanks David…Yes i have read about that possibility too and potentially moving downtown. Not sure if it is definitely happening but if it does hopefully it retains some of the aspects of the current one thats been there for decades. Lol! Isn’t Cheese shop great!😎
