I don't normally enjoy you tube Q & A but watched that with such interest, your format was superb, the photography was as good as ever and the whole thing was so interesting, much better than the usual boring sitting in front of the camera rattling away, I shall look forward to future Q & A from Northern Mudlarkers, the Queen's of You Tube Q & A. Congratulations again for such a fabulous year.

I would suggest that there are several reasons your channel took off. One of the biggest reasons in my opinion is the quality of your videos. They are very well done. Alex's cinematography and editing is really good. Hearing her say she is interested in photography makes sense. Her abilities show! Your are both quite charming and attractive. It is not necessary for you tubers to be attractive per se but charming and charismatic is key. It may seem shallow but it is true. The beautiful and scenic places you go are truly gorgeous and delightful. Alex's ability to capture both the vast land and sea scares and the teeny tiny beauties really brings your viewers into the adventure. Your artistic skills and the extra content showing what you do with some of your finds are also very engaging.

I've also come to find the spelling errors that pop up in your videos adorable. I don't know why. I usually find those kind of errors annoying but from you they are endearing. No criticism here. Just an observation. Never change!

Please know my intent was not to make fun of the spelling errors. Honestly, they just add a dash of quirky and endearing charm to these lovely videos. Did I mention the music? It is used beautifully too!

My Dad who passed away in 2012 at age 92 was my inspiration. He was a great finder of things. I remember him bringing bits and pieces home, some of which I still have. He would bring pieces of branches home to make canes and walking sticks. I have one he made in 1947 out of ironwood for his father. I keep his hobby alive and will continue to do so until I can no longer explore.

Your dad sounds much like mine. When we (my siblings and I) were young, he would take us out to the woods and teach us how to read the land for cellar holes, bottle dumps and teaching us to pan for gold. Needless to say, every weekend was like an adventure, it truly was a wonderful childhood. Sadly, we lost our dad to cancer at the age of 47. He lives on in my heart and memories though.

I love you guys. You’re the best thing on KZbin. BTW my brother found a 10,000 year old rare iron spear point and turned it over to the state archaeologist. There was an old Native American Indian iron works within 200 miles...don’t remember exactly where that was. But I know where he found the spear point!

So I didn't get to ask a question but I would like to ask something now for maybe a future question-and-answer time. You've spoken only of your brother a couple of times is it just the three of you does he live with you or is it just you two girls running that whole Farm yourselves? That property that you have and your home and it's just so historically amazing and cool and I wonder when it was built?

I love to watch you two and how tuned into each other you are. One of you can start saying something and the other picks up on it and finishes what you were talking about. I love it when you show the old churches and buildings. I feel like I know more about my heritage after watching. My ancestors came to the new land (America) back in 1644, long time ago. Our beaches in America does not have the interesting stones like you find there.

That was a good video. What a horrible thing history can be sometimes. The clay ink pot you found recently, I didn't realise that fingerprint was a child's, I wonder how many of them they turned out in a day, so sad to think about. Thank goodness for child labour laws now, at least in developed countries. I looked up Mrs Winslow's, there is an article from the Maryborough Gazette, dated 15 August 1885 ( which i found on a Queensland state Library blog). My father recently passed & he was born in Maryborough Qld. His Mother would've been a baby around that time & incidently the 15th of August was her Birthday. The article goes on to say about how many children in Qld & therefore, in Australia, had died from taking it. There was an inquest to establish how in future, people could purchase products like these & powders that were on the market & readily available to parents. There must have been thousands of infant deaths, worldwide. 😱

Hi Ladies, I know I'm late with a few questions, but as I watched this fun video, I found that questions did come to mind: You seem to have farming equipment -- the tractor, a ton of hay, etc., who does that work, and what animals are you feeding with all the hay? Is the house your living in currently a familial/ancestral home of yours? How far do you need to drive to get to town, the market, etc.? Since we live on an island, people think we don't have real houses or electricity or markets, so we're used to getting weird questions, too. Thanks!
