I used to have an altar years ago and also had regalia. I have sinced changed religion/ perspective, but my daughter inherited the altar/ regalia and I guess it can be considered a heirloom in the making as she plans to pass it down to her future eldest child some day. I will never ever be disrespectful of a path that I followed for many years and gave me such peace and guidance when I needed it the most and the world felt dark and uninviting. May your path be a source of healing, guidance and peace to you as well, brother Cuervo Negro. ❤ Te admiramos mucho; Lala y Jay ❤

Cheers back to you guys! I'm sitting here drinking Shiner Bock and was happy to raise a bottle to y'all as well. I ordered a copy of "The Long Night of Winchel Dear." and I can't wait to read it. I love Cuervo's answer of, "Just keep going." That is a valuable lesson and has served me so very well in my tumultuous life. You can also say, "Never quit." That lesson is the reason I am alive today and have not just survived but have been so successful, even in the worst conditions of combat and darkness. Never quit. Set your sights on taking care of those you love and taking care of yourself, no matter how hard and dark and dangerous. Sounds kinda corny reading it back to myself, but know this: YOU are the key to your survival and success. I admire you guys and I am invested in your prosperity. Shalom, my friends.

I enjoy watching your videos and the effort you put into them. Your sense of humor is always on point even when you're down. I will watch and laugh so hard at the times things don't go according to plan, and appreciate you leaving them in the videos. It makes you guys so relatable, because we've all been there. Don't put so much pressure on yourselves, you don't have to force motivation (I know easier said than done) I just wanted to try to express my appreciation and wish you the best. Also on a side note my collection of Jurassic Park Blu Ray's always is accompanied by some JunkYard Fox merch, so you're canon in my household.

I decided to join ya and have a couple brews too. I had never seen that central Texas hunt video, glad you linked to it, just finished watching that. I'm not a hunter, I have nothing against it and have always thought about doing it, it has just never been high on my priority list but after watching that, I'm thinking I need to do it, would love to go to some place like that where if you're not having any luck in the field you can change gears and hit the water. Hope you find your groove again, James, I know the feeling, for some reason I've kinda lost my way this year and am having a hard time getting motivated about anything.

My dad is a bible thumping preacher but he is also a hippy so it was weird having him as a Sunday school teacher. We watched Jesus Christ, Superstar and listened to Bill Cosby's Noah skit in his class when I was in jr high. I think he would like your kit plus he was in a country band that put out a record while he was in college. One of his friends was in some kind of music major and needed to make a record and he had some friends that would play for free. They made like five copies

Just watched one of your pack dump videos. My gears very similar and works well. Just a suggestion and maybe a good video idea is a trauma kit. With your recent accident you can understand how fast things can happen. I carry a tq, pressure bandage and chest seals along with burn dressings and other things like quick clot. I'm a long ways from help just like you. Every little bit helps. I wish I had a youtube platform because I'd really like to show you the breakdown of my gear.

I had Bell’s palsy symptoms from tmj surgery I had. Doc did nothing wrong just the swelling , etc., affected the facial nerves. I had physical therapy , but in addition they provided a TENS unit ..highly recommend it. It generates electrical impulses to revive the nerves. Also B complex. An Israeli PT was first to recommend . She had worked with injured soldiers and it was a key thing they used. It took about a year and some to get near normal . Some remnants still remain but a doc needs to give me a medical test to determine any deficits ..not noticeable to average person . You are also young which is way in your favor! In reference to the challenge of making videos, I would think one of the biggest obstacles would be moving all the cameras and gear. Every time I watch an outdoor video of a person canoeing away from shore or hiking down a mountain trail I think " Damn, now they have to come back for the camera".

@junkyardfox James, from my heart to yours, grief is a process. Your letting that process be, will create a space where healing and growth become filled with grace and compassion for yourself. Release your mind from any victim thoughts. You're on the threshold of something new & excitng, but you have to be willing and open to see that you're more than your past trauma. The writing and desert skills you have could be the perfect ingredients for a 2-3 event that you host for the viewers to learn with a more hands on experienced mentor as yourself. Your writing skills translate into an organized mind. Why not take a poll within your viewer community, including viewers outside of Patreon and let that youthful creative process engage the solid base you & Cuervo have actively established.Thanks to you and Cuervo for hanging in there!

James, didn't a lot of "Bible Thumpers" help you out recently? Pretty offensive terminology dude.
@JunkyardFox5 ай бұрын
Somebody always has to find something to be offended by. Many folks can be devout in their beliefs and still respect others’ differing views, which is great. and then there’s some that will always be quick to write how wrong yours are. I say this because it always happens on here when Cuervo discusses his beliefs, saying it’s witchcraft, etc.

Understand why you said it but at the same time it can come across badly to say it that way. There's a definite negative stereotyping of what a Bible thumper is..
