When I was out as a minor, my mom’s dental hygienist would ask the most inappropriate and invasive questions about me, including questions about my genitals when I was a fucking child. People think just bc we’re trans, that they are somehow entitled to our bodies and stories, it just pretty exhausting after a while. It feels like we are not viewed as human. Though, I am glad some trans people, like Veondre, can be so open and willing to deal with the general public. That takes a lot of mental fortitude.

Exactly, imagine if a cis female was getting asked questions about her vägíṉâ by a cis male, people would go crazy about how invasive that is while Trans people go through it regularly. Just because someone is trans doesn’t mean you are entitled to know about they’re private areas. 💀

My point is their health care professionals, they ask things for reasons we have no clue about. I could kind of understand if it’s some random person but it’s not. @@LynkynPeppers you parents should definitely support you, I agree (that doesn’t mean agree and condone tho). That’s irrelevant here tho. A third party asking about your feelings on your son/daughter’s transition is just like any other question. It doesn’t imply or signal anything. To you, the ANSWER might be inconsequential to your life, but THAT QUESTION IS NOT ABOUT YOU, and rather about your mothers feelings. You feel it’s invalid because you centered the question around the relevance of YOUR feelings. Just fyi, how your mother feels matters to some people, completely outside of what goes on in your life and mind.

@@LynkynPeppers Kids, They don't tell you that but you will never accomplish your dreams because of severe medical complications, joint problems, heart problems, and the inability to bring another life to this world. You will be stuck with a rent that leaves you already hungry and you'll still have to buy hormone balancing drugs in order, not to heal you, but to prevent the active problems from getting even worse. This means that you will either pay or die from a heart attack, be in too much pain to walk and have difficulty just existing without this drug which, I emphasize that you will have no choice but to buy at 2k every months. No travels, no buying yourself cool shit, all that money is going straight to preventing you from being, homeless, aggravating your, then, hormone related problems and food. You won't be able to buy yourself a dog, too expensive. Half of whatever free time you have left will go to medical check ups. You will be prone to severe depression due to hormone imbalance affecting the release of chemical that causes you to feel emotions and you won't be able to transition back because the detransition surgery costs nearly 200,000$ The previously very supporting community that fueled that desire will shun you as, in your unhappiness, you are no longer supporting their narrative. Do you still want to proceed? Yeah sure, sign that contract. It's not like your parents, who succeeded in life, who managed to build themselves a good life, somehow might know a thing or two about what not being reckless is.

No no, it's a decision. There is no trans gene, It comes from experiencing a set of things that push you in a direction. We are human and so we do have the power to get the delimma. You get stuck with "do I" or "do I not" People will decide at that moment, rejecting it or embracing it. It is a choice.

another question that can be appropriate is, 'when did you decide to come out'. realizing they were trans wasn't a decision, but coming out is where the decision was made, if that makes any sense. but be careful with that one because sometimes it can bring up traumatic memories for people. you seem like you care about other people so i think you can use your best judgement on it and just let people know they don't have to tell you anything they don't want to 🖤🤎

I hate how people ask when/if someone got the surgery. Like why the fuck does it matter? Why do you care what’s on someone’s chest or in their pants. No matter what someone’s genitals are, if someone identifies as a certain gender, then you respect them as that gender and treat them like you would treat anyone else because they’re human too.
@symoneprice798

@Shuramaru

Damn, shame of them for being humane and curious. Even disabled children don't react with such hostility. You know... Maybe... the reason you hate questioning is because you yourself doubt if it was a smart decision and you don't like to be reminded of the potential fact that you might be screwed later on. Or it could be before the additional hormone cause severely traumatic mental problems that affect the productions of chemical and can give severe mood swings and depression. But you do you I guess.
@stringofwordstradingco
@stringofwordstradingco 10 ай бұрын
@@Shuramaru You’re saying they’re “humane” and “curious”? It’s the same as someone walking up to a woman and asking their bra size or asking a man his dick size out of no where. If it’s their problem, why do you care?
@Shuramaru
@Shuramaru 10 ай бұрын
@@stringofwordstradingco Not really, those are kind of noticeable, I don't really need to ask. Listen, I get your point, entirely even. But I don't have the ability to just know everything with my sight. And as of why I care, I will ask you. Do I really need a reason to inquire about someone, if I worry or might be curious. If someone is dealing with struggles due to a choice they made. Is it not ok for me to want to know? If not, then why not just say, "I don't want to talk about it?" Why is hostility the first response to such a question? I am human, you are too, curiosity can be both a blessing and a curse, yet we cherish our ability to learn. It's by talking about problems and by joking about it as people that we feel accepted, It is by sharing our beliefs and pains that we become joint in the face of knowledge. I am simply curious, is that so wrong? Might one simply inquire in reason not to accidentally wound one's feelings in later discussions? If it is a bad thing, I can understand. But is it not supposed to be positive?

@symoneprice798
@symoneprice798 10 ай бұрын
@@a.p.1363 I didn’t say it makes it okay. Not once. My overall point is that there are situations that cis people face where they DO receive these questions. You said “they would never ask”. You tried to make a point that because someone is trans, people feel like it’s okay to disregard their feelings and social politeness. It’s just not true. Also, I might add that although it isn’t a common conversational topic, it shouldn’t be as offensive as the trans crowd feels it is. I’m not trans or a sexual minority in anyway but there are other things about me and my life that people are interested in that I could be completely off put by. Instead when people ask me about them I recognize their interest, take time to educate, and asses the situation from there. The reason trans people, specifically feel this question is so offensive is because it’s damming to their entire identity. It really comes down to how you feel about what you’re being questioned on. When I was young I asked my cousin why his eyes were a different color, not knowing he was blind. He felt, upset. If I asked him today he wouldn’t care because it no longer holds the same spell over him that it did before. Is it impolite to point out people’s differences yes. Should it be? No. It is not specific to trans people, and it shouldn’t be offensive. It’s a relevant question to a lot of people.

How come whenever you see a supportive parent your first guess is that they are manipulating them Into being trans? This is not possible there was already a study done on it, male and female brains are diffrent so even if you tried they would go back to assigned gender at birth or get depression it's the same as detransition therapy The reason trans people are trans is there was a study done recently that says some trans people might have been born with a brain that was wired differently like parly a man and partly a girl but don't quote me because I don't know how accurate this part is I do know thay body dysmorphia is a mental illness with cure so they feel like they are in the wrong body that's why they are trans not because of brainwash it's because of how their brain works

None. You won't have any friends. We men live a lonely life if not for a partner. You cannot just walk up to a man and start talking. Now, you are officially worthless, Welcome to the world of men, Where your value solely depends on what you are able to do. gone will be the compliments, nobody is going to "GO GIRLY" you. You've transitioned yet? If you are, then you are screwed, very sorry that it wasn't written on the contract. You are bound to be judged, insulted, be called annoying. There is no complimenting between boys, It does rarely happen but you what you'll hear is mostly insults that are meant to be taken jokingly but that are actually based on things that they find real. You cannot walkup to girls randomely, they will look at you with disgust. You can't walk behind a girl at night either, you might be randomly pepper sprayed or have the cops called on you. In this situation it might be better if you just take a phone and act as if you don't see her or simply stop and either wait or take another way home. I hope your muscles match your mind because you will be asked to carry things and others will absolutely see value depending on how heavy and/or your ability to fight. You are never right, if you try to explain what you think of a situation, it's seen as insulting and you are asked to shut the fuck up. I really feel for you but if you want to be a man still, you better find yourself a secluded group of people and stick with them for the remaining of the time you have due to how much hormonal issues is going to cost you, not to fix them, but to take a medication that allows the symptoms to NOT worsen. that's 2k off the bat immediately. I hope you are rich because with rent being ever growing due to inflation, You won't be able to afford 4k a months. Oh and that is WITHOUT food, subscriptions, insurance, gas, car insurance, health insurance and fun money. That would cost you around 6K a months if I am correct and I believe it is still more. 6000 x 12 = 72000 Oh and that's without tax. 72000 divided by the amount of days in a year which is 365 gives us 197.26 We'll round it up a little 197 That is the amound of money you'd have to make per day. So let's divide that by a salary of hmmm.... lets say.... 30 dollars an hour. That mean you'd have to work 6.5 hours a day. It's 6.56666. We rounded up remember? Alright so with that in mind, You would still have zero days off except maybe a week of vacancy every year. But wait I forgot something, AH YES, taxes. average tax rate is 29.0% and your marginal tax rate is 30.5%. This means that you are left with $53,997... You'd need a salary of roughly... $110000 A year, Your taxes would be higher on that one too average tax rate would become 31.2% and your marginal tax rate, 43.4%. SO let's recalculate and I'll even give you a 40 an hour. 110000 divided by 365 = 301.369863014. We round up, 301. That'd be the daily requirement 301$ Now, we divide that by 40$ Now you'd need 7,30 hours each day, no days of except the free week. We have to take into account that you might be severely sick sometimes and be unable to come, maybe an injury would also stop that and due to The hormones, that is very likely going to happen as you no longer regenerate correctly due to your brain being basically, hooked on crack, which doesn't mean you are stupid, it just means you might have really bad antibody in this case. Alright so, by my calculation That might require you to sometimes have shifts of 12 hours and some of 2 but it's bound to vary. Say goodbye to traveling I guess. Those problems are going to come in your late 20 or, if you are unlucky, sooner. Welp. Good luck on your journey, I hope you have fun.

Women cant grow a penis and testicles. You can try apply your ideology to reality but it will never change what this person is. Its an ideology, used to protect peoples feelings. Its the ultimate weakness. There is nothing wrong with feminine boys and masculine girls. Leave them alone and stop preying on their minds and we wont end up with people like this living in a bubble of delusion.

I can’t imagine how incredibly difficult it must have been for you two. On one hand the urge to make sure your baby is SAFE medically is always on the forefront. The fear of what certain medications COULD do is VERRRYYYY real. For you, the fear of figuring out such a major issue in your brain body combination and what that means must have been just as terrifying. You two handled it in a way I hope and wish everyone could. In a world where we’re demonizing the wrong people daily for a choice they never truly had, I hope and pray you know you’re going to be ok no matter the hurdle in front of you❤️

Sex is not gender and that is a scientific fact that most organizations agree with. Meaning that you can be a male and a female biologically, but psychologically you can be any gender because gender does not exist as a physical concept. Just like how marriage and virginity and money have no actual value but still have value within society. Does that explain how she can be a woman but born male?

HOW ABOUT U ACTUALLY ASK A TRANS PERSON HERE I AM HOW DID I KNOW I WAS TRANS AT AGE FIVE ? because ever since I have my earliest memories I can remember thinking about myself and who I am and being unable to see myself as a boy or as a man even in my own mind trying to imagine myself as my body looked on the outside it was impossible for me …and over the years I had to learn to deal with ppl treating me like a boy/man ppl treating me in ways that never matched up with who I always knew I was inside …and no I didn’t know the name for what I was at that young an age so it took me years to know what I was ..at first when I was FIVE and I thought maybe I’m just gay (I hadn’t learned the word gay until way later but I knew I liked boys and not girls ) and i can remember my father forcing me to get haircuts was always so traumatizing and stripped me of something I really liked about myself my long hair was the only thing I had that made me feel like me and made me like myself .. I felt so trapped and forced to be how everyone else thought i should be I wanted to keep my long hair so bad i cried everytime I was forced into a haircut …. so I lived as a gay man for a while but the feeling of never being treated or seen as who I know I really am on the inside always stayed till I realized …this is what trans feels like my body doesn’t match my mind and that’s why …and everything clicked once I realized that’s what I was the whole time ever since my earliest memories I’ve always been a girl inside but of course humans are too ignorant to understand that we are not our bodies we are simply INSIDE OF our bodies AND EVEN NOW when I think about marriage I can’t ever see myself in a suit or Tux or whatever I SEE A BEAUTIFUL WEDDING DRESS AND THE DREAM PRINCESS WEDDING being proposed to and all of it AND FYI MY MOTHER AND FATHER BOTH DONT APPROVE AND DIDNT EVER PUT TRANSNESS INTO MY HEAD THEY PUT THE OPPOSITE INTO MY HEAD THEY TRIED TO PRESSURE ME INTO BEING THE BOY THEY THOUGHT I WAS

So funny, hey btw, I guess you also find it funny that people aren't aware of side effects. Kids, They don't tell you that but you will never accomplish your dreams because of severe medical complications, joint problems, heart problems, and the inability to bring another life to this world. Still feels funny I bet.
