Yep, learned how to play this song years ago. Took me a few weeks to learn the full thing by watching this video over and over. Part by part. Still can't play it perfectly to this day. It would simply take to much time to master.

whenever u listen a slow melodic song from one of this legendary guitar player it's not easy cuz u gotta have a good feel and finger strength to maintain the melody in an akward chord shape so yeah it will build up the fingers strength just play it slow and often cuz it's the only way

This guy really is one of the best acoustic guitar players I’ve ever seen. I saw him play in a little bar in the Tri-city area of VA TN .... I swear Tommy,, I can listen to you all day. Thank you for being you. My music dream came to a horrifying halt but I do all I can because music is my heart and soul. I love to write even though I started as a drummer but came back to the flat top which has been a family thing as long as I can remember. Heck I remember Archie Campbell would come and pick with my granny, I know I could never do what you do but it still makes me happy to play, I'm sure you know the feeling. Its truly an honor just to here you play, I have a wide range of music I like but the stuff you play just takes me back home. I'm so glad I saw u play on Chan 2 a year ago. Haha

Wow...I wonder if TE used a Martin to record this on Only ? Its amazing how the pulls offs and hammer ons that Tommy gets the feeling across .. Greatest album he has done in my opinion. Stunningly beautiful! Thanks for leaving the warts in there too. There is a lesson to be learned right there... A life lesson, not just musically. There's a Charlie Hunter video "just a closer walk with thee".... The KZbin user who has it up is listed as Fast Atmosphere. Total flub at about 2:30 into video... Guy is so talented. The crowds response to it is great and so is his. It's my go-to flub. What a level Tommy Emmanuel and Charlie Hunter are at. There is a Jimmy Hendrix quote out there. He says he has been imitated so well even his mistakes have been copied. That is the top of the greatness ladder without a doubt.
