This guy has a great perseverance. He turned a piece of log that's about to be turned into a firewood into a beautiful unique bowl. Then, when I thought he was done, he made graphic design which even made it look magnificent. It look like a viking ship or an Egyptian artifact. I thought watching this long video would be boring, but I didn't want it to end. Thanks for sharing.

That's not a bowl. That's as canoe for a housecat! Great job with this, Dude! Not just the bowl, but the editing, too. You did jump cuts in all the right places to keep things from being too tedious, while still preserving the experience. Awesome work!

I’ve done other art forms, drawing, painting, metal sculpture, and ceramics. Just getting into wood work and have been watching a ton of wood turning videos. They’re awesome, but you take it to a whole new level that I so appreciate as an artist. Everything from your final piece, preparation, tools and shop were outstanding. More so since my first project is a carved cane...thanks for the video & inspiration! Must take forever and a day to get all those tools sharp! Take Care

OMG! I feel like I worked with you from the beginning to the end. Wouf! I’m tired but I’m so proud of you. This video was amazing. The extensive craftsmanship necessary from scratch to create a outstanding bowl is unbelievable! This millennium is where we are holding by a thread the almost extinct the beauty of people that have the Craftsmanship as this fine artist. We need to protect what is part of our culture and from what we were based in terms of traditional work. It a gift that can be learned and mastered. Thank you for your wonderful work and I respect what you do for keeping nostalgic alive and bringing the beauty of wood with your hands.

For me very relaxing to watch every minute of your video. I enjoyed very much. I'm confused though, many woodworkers use grinders and power equipment to hog out the discards, then at the end lay in the find chisel marks to make it look hand made. You do the opposite, put in all of that work then sand out the chisel marks in a sense erasing proof that it was hand made. I especially like the pattern at the end.

Wow! I love everything you did in this video, and there are a few items of particular note I wanted to comment about. While I myself have come up with some novel methods of securing the work piece, yours vastly eclipse mine!! I salivated over just about every hand tool you used, most especially the various gouges (especially the dogleg gouge!), and I didn't even know there was such a thing as an adjustable draw knife!! Awesome!! What a pleasure it has been to watch you create this large piece!!!
