Queues & Grime! Filthy Hot Ryanair Flight- Tenerife to Manchester! ✈️

Took 7.30pm flight last thursday. Check in opens 2 hours i was told so had to wait. Burger king was packed when we looked and found 1 table but gave it up as had 20 mins to go to gate. Could take drink thru security as well which we cannot over here. No cold drinks on board only water and then they ran out!! Had extra leg room and the plane legroom was a row behind so did not get what paid for. But got home safely :)

Happens so much with Ryanair.....that on way back to UK or ire from any canary Island they always run out of food, loo roll. You will need your florida holiday after that journey 😀

Hi .Burger King at Tenerife airport .the long que was for self service I went down line and was 6 people back so not long at all . We left Tenerife on 18th 8.45 pm hand luggage only and it was fantastic .defo no drop off luggage if possible. Met you two on a walk one day .thanks for all info .wayne (mcCartney)

When I came home from Tenerife last Tuesday the bag drop was busy but went fast and security was a breeze but all the shops & resturants was busy all around a good experience

We came home from Tenerife South on the 29th August and i can honestly say it was quick and easy no problems what so ever, although our TUI check in gate was at the far end of the old section there were 4 or 6 desks open so it was a speedy check in for us. Ryanair stopped flying with them years ago.

we travelled from that airport and we arrived 3 hours before but gate did,nt open until 2 hours before flight so we had to queue by the side of check in but when it opened no issues and straight through the new security check in fantastic service great new part of the airport

We flew back to Bristol out of Tenerife South on August 18th and it was trouble free -until we arrived at Bristol and bags from 3 or 4 flights were all put onto the same baggage carousel and it took 90 mins for ours to arrive !!!

We got there 7 hours before as our holiday was hit by covid, so we just wanted to get back. We couldn't go through the gates more than 4 hours before departure, so we sat one side for 3 hours, then 4 hours on the other side. But, it went smoothly enough.

We have travelled twice to Tenerife since the pandemic. We always fly Jet 2 and they're great. No problems. Tenerife South was great apart from slightly longer going through passport control and Covid check. No problems at all in Manchester going or coming back.

Arrived home into Aberdeen with KLM. No bags still in Rome. Queued for 2 hours for a taxi home. To drop off at the airport is now £4

We’re travelling to Tenerife soon just an 8 night holiday this time so we’ve decided to travel light and just take carry on bags …think that’s the best idea looking at those queues. We had similar experience before where check desks only open 2 hours before the flight. Will definitely be taking wipes to clean our seats etc. Great vlog Andrew….have a fab holiday x😊

We flew in last Wed with ryanair 1hour 40 mis delay once on the plane it had sweets everywhere on the floor by us but when we got off omg the mess some people leave behind is unreal.we only had 10kg and small bag it was so much better travelling light

Jet 2 travelling back on sept 1st queues were horrendous . We were in zig zag queues parallel to the entrance/exit doors all the way to the actual check in desks at half six for an 8.45 flight. Your bag drop is a doddle!!

If you are going into a duty-free shop and you see something you like, take a look on the internet first and you will see if it's cheaper online or on the high streets, than in duty free. Another con is they ask to see your boarding pass, they take the number on it and they claim the VAT back on your purchase, you don't get it, they do.

Security was about 2 minutes and I was at the airport 2.5 hours before my flight ! Jet2 bag drop was about 20 minutes wait if anyone is interested to know 😊 happy holidays

When we travelled home in august our transfer was so late and the bag drop was bedlam, luckily we only had cabin bags but even with cabin bags we didn’t end up having enough time for a Burger King before the flight lol

We travelled light & glad we did as their were similar issues at both ends travelling into Manchester what with baggage etc - also with the gates, straight on after others had just got off- it wasn’t pleasant and our flight was delayed 2hrs back into Manchester which means our 22.05 flight was 00.15

Having had issues with them previously we had a really bad time with Ryanair concerning refunds during the lockdowns and will never use them again. Next trip to Tenerife is with EasyJet in February. Had no problems with them so sticking with them rather than trust Ryanair again.

Unimpressed with tenerife airport.We flew tenerife to Manchester overnight 2am flight a couple of weeks ago, everything was closed and we could only use the vending machines for drink and food. Check in for bags still took over an hour even though there were only 2 outward bound flights all night.

The heat on the plane and the lights going bright and dim was a electrical problem without a doubt, I know this down to my mate being an engineer on commercial airlines and having the same problem our selves coming back from gran canaria one year and my mate telling the reason for it. It's not anything dangerous just something they couldn't control until an engineer looks at it. My wife won't fly with Ryan air anymore!!!!

I had a horrendous flight home from Malaga with Ryanair. Like you said the plane was so hot, everyone was using fans. I actually fainted on the plane because it was that bad. I couldn’t get air and the air conditioning was useless. Never flying with them again. Apart from the amazing staff that looked after me it was a nightmare.

I went through on Saturday morning to travel home. We were through check in, security and to the gate in no time at all. very pleasant in Tenerife. Shame i cannot say the same about landing at Manchester, A 20-minute delay when we landed to get on a stand, then they lost Owens wheelchair. So, we stood for 30 minutes talking to the cabin crew.

Oh no sounded like a bit of a nightmare. Our flight back on Tui from tenerife in June had dirty tables and one of the seats had chocolate smeared down it on one side. We asked the cabin crew to wipe them down. Not good the airlines at the moment for cleaning the aircraft it seems. Even the floor had bits of rubbish left on it. Maybe the cabin crew walk through and give it the once over now🤔

Travelled with Ryanair to Tenerife a couple Of weeks ago. It was a nightmare, particularly on the way home back from Tenerife. Ryanair open the bag drop desks 2 hours before you’re scheduled to leave. By the time we’d queued for that, gone through security , and through the additional passport check , it was time to board the plane. We were starving and had no time to stop for food. They really need to Improve Tenerife airport. Won’t fly Ryanair to Tenerife again.

Flew from T South in July and Burger King was terrible. After the long wait they got my order wrong (I had put the order through the digital board) so had to argue with the servers, who had discarded my order so couldn’t check it. Eventually they gave up and gave me my proper order!!! Rest of airport was great and TUI flight was fine, although it was also minging
