I need more videos, April 😁 I’ve been out of service for a month now due to a shoulder injury and I’ve watched all of your videos! I may be away from my sewing machine for at least 4 months so I’ll be needing at least 100 more LOL I’m living vicariously through KZbin sewing channels to get my fix. Your channel is my fav and I’ve now started to rewatch your tutorials. Sewing is my therapy ❤️

Ohhhhh myyyy gosh!!!!! @11:54..... GENIUS idea to get an overall look before actually sewing together! I am just starting my quilting journey and I am also a bit OCD (my mom would say, way OCD #lol) so while I've cut all of my first pieces (only had to run back to the fabric store once for an oopsie, only to find out my oopsie wasn't so bad and now I have enough for a second quilt the same colors and the one I started #facepalm #giggle) so this is a super valuable tip for me as a new quilter!

Hi April, I also have had trouble with my ruler moving and getting a crooked cut. Well, I learned that putting a 5 lb. weight lifting weight on the ruler makes all the difference. I got the idea from a youtube sight. Don't remember which one. Enjoy watching you cut and sew. Thanks

Great video. I didn’t think I would like the fabrics together, but they look great! I use a hand weight at the end of my long ruler when cutting to keep it from slipping. It really does work. Got the idea from Jordan Fabrics tutorial. Thought you might be able to use this tip. I also use the AccuQuilt cutting system whenever possible as the cuts are always perfect. Thanks for all you do. I love watching your tutorials.
