Love the way you explained the attaching the two ends. I try and do the bias cut to get the two ends together. Your way is much easier!

I love how you carefully explained how you prepared the backing, and also how you started and enmeshed your binding. I'm an old and experienced sewist, but many younger and less experienced folk are joining the ranks. You have done them a great favor. It was well explained and demonstrated. April, I've done the smaller 5"sq disappearing 9 patch, but I never thought about a 10" one, I liked it. Love your KZbin channel and your kitties, I have a year old orange male tabby, named Nehemiah, who also thinks he can help in the sewing and ironing dept.

I always love your videos. I do my bindings the same way……SEW EASY. Nice quilt. I never have used the mono thread. I sew binding to the front and hand stitch to the back…….i’m a old grandmother 😂❤😂

I use this binding technique especially for mug rugs or table runners where there is not to much space to do a bias sewing of the ends.

I really like this quilt Miss April. Fantastic example of how to use large pieces to show off super cool prints.
