I made chicken for the first time. I was afraid if it wouldn't work out. I was worried about the proportions. But, this particular recipe helped me a lot. It is so simple. She simplifies it further by explainining the significance of the ingredients. It was the best chicken curry I've ever had in my life (of course, after my mom's). Ladies and Gentlemen, try this one. You'll realise that you're a wonderful cook. :) Thank You. P.S. : Try onion paste instead of chopped onions. Do add water so that the chicken cooks well.

I love your video and the dedication you put into it. And I appreciated your extensive explanation about almost everything you do here. That really solved many of my puzzles because many such videos on KZbin seem to assume that the viewers already knew everything about Indian cooking. Anyways. I also think people randomly comment on other people's English and/or accent is a rather rude and proud act. This lady was making a "how to cook" video, not an "how to speak English with the correct grammar" video. You have come to the wrong place if you are looking to learn how to speak English properly.

for an indian cuisine newbie, this is super helpful. i just made a chicken tikka masala for the 1st time. The onion just wouldn't turn brown, then i realised i put tomato in too early. And now I got this explained from the video. So Awesome. THANK YOU CHEF.

Among the talk there is some great advice. Took me about 25 mins to brown onions properly with a tbsp of brown sugar. As "puree" I used a tin of good quality chopped tomatoes, mashed up further with a fork. Cooked them well, too. Not quick, but result was the best curry i've tried at home so far. Would work well with lamb too. Thanks.

I tweaked the salt, chili powder, and added some chili seeds (to make it spicy) untill It tasted how I liked. I had to do some adjustments from start to finish on the flavor, but the result was a dish that is the best tasting I've ever made myself in my life haha. I'll definitely make this dish again, and experiment untilI find my own personal favorite. So thanks!
