Hi i have a 98 Pathfinder 3.3L. I inspected the bottom inside of distributor (under the coil) and the shaft only had about half the ball bearings in it. Could this cause random misfires in all cylinders, P0300 code? The plate that covers the bearings was broken off/loose too. Thanks!

yes, that can absolutely cause p0300 random misfire codes.

Stalling at red light. I am having the same issue. Truck idles fine, Starts fine, Soon as I give it gas taking off its fine.... but If i Give is a little bit of the beans it stalls. Then starts right back up. I am replacing the fuel pump / filter now as a general maintenance. Never thought about the distributor. Could this be my problem? No codes so hard to track down when the truck idles great. 1998 Pathy with 95k miles. I do believe the distributor is original.

I'm about to change our distributor on a 99 Nissan Pathfinder these videos are helpful that's the one thing I've never done I was worried about the timing let you know how I make out

what going on Robert? the hardbody will be in some videos in the future. hurricane Matthew flooded all of the e30s so I doubt you will see any of those soon.

the bearings down go on those. nissan wants $500 for one and bearing was $20. do u still have the old frontier ?

well they didn't have it at auto parts stores but could order it. So what i did was called a couple of industrial supply companies locally and was able to find it in stock there. The place was called Motion Industries or close.
