Stargrave Troopers are really one of those models that it's harder to find a bad scheme for them than it is to find a good one. My only complaint it that they need shoulder armor though.

I'm looking forward to the expansion that'll include rules for solo crew adventures! In the meantime there's Five Parsecs to play with these guys, but there's so many different games out there they'd be suitable for they're an easy purchase if you need some faceless minions. Even a Shadowrun campaign, now I think about it. Hmm...
@euansmith36993 жыл бұрын
There is a free bounty hunter expansion on the Northstar website which contains rules for solo play versus AI crews. Also, there is, as Sonic Sledgehammer mentioned, the upcoming expansion, that will apparently offer more solo rules. So, playing with your self is an option 😉

These dudes looks awesome for the game formerly known as Hardwired (now called Exploit Zero for trademark reasons). It's a cyberpunk solo game, and these troopers would fit the role of corporate H-SEC -- that's Hostile Security, or mooks if you will.

There's so many cool options out there for miniatures. While I do love GW's stuff, I feel like there's a lot of others that could do with a little time in the limelight, you know? Loved it, another great video which inspired me to make a purchase and give it ago! Never painted these sorts of miniatures before but inspired by your choice of colour scheme I now have my first fully painted trooper. Learnt so much along the way as the painting techniques are different from what I've been used when railway modelling. Now to get the rest done. By the way any tips on putting these sorts of figures together. I found some challenges in getting the arms to align! Is it better to use superglue or something like plasticweld?
@SonicSledgehammerStudio3 жыл бұрын
When you're assembling plastic miniatures, a glue to match is the best choice - brand tends to depend on location, but while superglue will work fine it doesn't give as permanent a bond. Most proper plastic cements work by essentially melting the two surfaces together, and since they don't set instantly you've got a little wiggle time to work them into the right position. Excellent choice on getting started! :D I hope it sticks with you!

@SonicSledgehammerStudio3 жыл бұрын
Personally, I like to use a strongly contrasting colour to stand out on things like eyes and goggles, but I can see painting them to fit the rest of the colour scheme as well. It's just a matter of preference, I don't think your brain's got anything to answer for!

They are supposed to mix well with the Frostgrave miniatures range; so Barbarian, Cultist, Fiendish and Medieval bitz and bodies should be available.
