Quick and Simple Milk Crate Kayak Cart

I made this milk crate kayak cart with the intent of keeping it as quick and simple as possible to bring my kayak from my car to the water. I've seen other milk crate carts that have to be assembled and disassembled, but with this one, you can simply put the kayak on it, strap it down, and then flip the cart over and attach it to the kayak.

This is great for blacktop. Won't work at a rocky river where you need at least 6" (or more) of ground clearance.

I have the same kayak. What size caster wheels did you use?

Kelly Ngo they were 8 inch pneumatic fixed caster wheels from harbor freight

For the wheels? They are bolts that came with the wheels

The reason you don’t see that kind of rolling create is because is a horrible idea! So... you said you used it to take the kayak from the car to the water... and all the tackle boxes or the thing you wanna put in the create!? The idea of those milk create/ fishing boxes is to be able to carry all your stuff in with you. If you need to get back to the car and get everything with you to put it in the create is just not useful. And the reason your creates moves in you kayak is because you need to use une cord for the hooks in front and the other to the pad eyes behind. That way you might add a rod holder. Glad is something useful for you!!

I'm not sure why you would think I would leave it all at my car and walk back to go get it. I simply put all my tackle and stuff inside the kayak when I use the crate as a cart to take it from the car to the water. Then I strap the crate to the kayak and toss in my stuff and I'm ready to go. Really simple, quick and useful.

Your comment is useless and asinine. The whole crate/cart concept is a great idea and this is a different take on it (could be reinforced but the idea is sound). If you want to shit on an idea, a suggestion for improvement would be appreciated.
