You got to go when you feel safe for you and rusty and the other people around in other trucks and vehicles to be safe. It's good your wife come out and did her part to help you. After living in Southeast Alaska for 21 years and everything comes out of Seattle on barges they can wait a day or two in Seattle there probably going to put the washers on a barge for Alaska. You and rusty have a good safe trip

I heard what I thought was 45 gunshot to side of RV. Both seats lost air. Freightliner M2 2004. Can't locate location of problem. I'll try driving on 2 pillows to a service center off i95 in VA south.

@ClutchTrucker but passenger seat air ride works find. Dash says normal air pressure. Rv rear suspension air bags not collapsed. No air hissing sounds in cab. Glad I wasn't driving when driver seat suddenly collapsed; ax for sure at 65mph !

Our local library has your Dads book as does Amazon! Wise parents teach their children, male or female how to do repairs! As well as how to do laundry, cook, clean. In our family we call these money saving life skills. Safe travels.

Piece of wood or a book will work in that situation the jacks just a little bit safer and like I say I think I paid 20 bucks for it off Amazon one of the best things I ever bought

Clutch, I’m a company driver in a speed-governered truck at 68 MPH and the furthest ever been do drive on my 11 hour drive clock was 689 miles. Kinda jealous you can beat my maximum daily distance by over 100 miles!!!

Question? My bus seat has two positions. Either all the way up or all the way down. There is no middle selection. I don’t have an air leak going on. Can you or other readers tell me how I can fix this problem please?

Check if it has a lever for air ride or not. Used to drive a bus. And if the lever was in the wrong position. It was either up or down like you say

Are the metal connections better than the plastic ones? Did this same fix on my rig and my seat will hold air but not enough to withstand the weight of a body

I’ve found the plastic are just as good. And actually don’t tend to hang up as much. Perhaps you need to get the tube shoved into the quick connect a little farther

Any shop or truck dealer. Only a buck or two. Just need the right size. I believe that’s a 1/4” fitting

This is one nightmare I have had, I was always afraid to bring my dog because he was the type to stick his head under there and I was afraid the seat would come down on him with me on the seat. He liked getting his head under the brake and gas petal in my personal car. He passed now I really miss having a dog but I dont know how to run keeping them safe. Kudos to clutch trucker and the rest who have pets ride with them!

Rusty learned early on the standard it right out from underneath the petals and one time when the seed balls real hard when he was underneath it and he got a little bit pinch then he doesn’t do that anymore
