I love this video 😍 would you ever consider doing an update where you just show how you style it to sleep and how you refresh it through the weekend? Maybe like a grwm vlog style. And I’ve been loving how your makeup has been lately. I’m turning 34 in April so I’ve also been trying to wear less makeup but it’s hard to find makeup tutorials that are geared towards women of our ages instead of only finding tutorials on full glams that only work if you’re in your 20s or younger lol you truly are an incredible woman and I love watching your videos

Those waves look so pretty on you! I LOVE my wave maker! Just a few tips I use: Try to get the last inch or so on the “under” bend…basically just the very tip of the iron so your ends don’t look fried. Also, make sure to keep it in an even up and down pattern. If you hold it at an angle not parallel it will be more noticeable and not blend in with the rest of the waves. I also section my hair going up and down instead of side to side so you don’t fight with as much hair over or underneath the iron. Btw, I’m 48! I sure don’t feel it! 😂
@timeswithamber52362 жыл бұрын
Yes on the ends looking fried if you don’t do it right
@ClaireNicole332 жыл бұрын
I don't really understand how to get only the bottom inch in there. I loved reading these tips♡. I've had mine for about 8-10 years, it's from Sally's and I love it. My hair is down to my butt and it only takes me maybe 15 minutes to do my whole head on medium to high heat. I zoom thru it and put rather big chunks in it. I never use hair protection products bc back in 2016 I used an expensive one abs fried the crap outta my hair. Any tips on this? Thanks♡
@jen_green Жыл бұрын
@@ClaireNicole33 what product did you use? Leave in cream, spray, balm etc? I’ve seen people (and younger me) use a heat protectant spray and fry their hair. Years ago I had the Chi heat protector spray, it’s expensive. My hair was dry, sprayed product on a section, and went right in w the straightener 😬🔥I knew you shouldn’t use hot tools on wet hair but I assumed bc of what it was..🙄clearly didn’t read directions. Now I like dry sprays, you spray it on and by the time you brush through it’s dry. Kenra platinum and the Paul Mitchell “hot off the press” are my favs. They are a little pricey but worth it I promise and sometimes you can find them at tj maxx * I’m very picky about product in my hair, I’d rather use nothing. So it has to show me something noticeable. Also, if you try the kenra, don’t use too much or it can make it look greasy

Looks great! I use that tool too. I found it definitely looks better on 1-2 day old hair. If I use it on my hair after a fresh shampoo, it gets real frizzy and flyaway. But, it keeps me from having to wash my hair often. It definitely lasts for a few days! You look awesome, girl!
@-BestOfMe2 жыл бұрын
I bet if you really wanna use it and u just washed your hair, just put some mouse in it when it's damp and then after it's dry and you've crimped it, then scrunch it with some anti-frizz serum. That works for me and i have fine baby hair. So fly aways and frizz im super familiar with. I dunno just try it.

This is gorgeous! I wish I could do this, but I gave up heat styling tools and dying my hair years ago hoping to have healthier hair. It doesn't really look that much healthier though so 🤷🏼... Maybe I'm just wasting my time. I've missed dying my hair. Haven't dyed it in three years now. also I'm 35 years old. Never had work done, not even Botox or fillers, absolutely nothing. I feel like I'm the ONLY one today who hasn't had work done and it makes me feel like there's something wrong with being all natural and it's a very yucky feeling, but I can't afford to change myself so I just have to deal with the way I look. It's very difficult today when everyone is doing opposite. I would love fuller lips, but that would mean not paying a bill. Guess I'll just have to work on self love instead. But I appreciate your honesty with us. Most try to hide that they have had work done. I don't think you need to get anything done. You're gorgeous! Wish I looked like you. You're basically perfect. And I'm all natural because I can't afford to look like everyone else. I wish I didn't have to be natural. Natural is gross and wrong- is what society teaches us. Fillers and Botox and getting work done is what society teaches us is right. So being natural isnt a blessing. It's very difficult to be the only natural person in the room. If I had the money, I wouldn't be natural anymore. I don't have a choice though. LOVING YOURSELF FOR THE WAY YOU ARE IS MUCH HARDER than just going to get whatever you don't like "fixed." I feel alien. But society teaches us that's the right thing to do and then everyone wants to preach self love lmao. I think natural women are EXTINCT these days. I don't see them anyways, especially on social media. I can relate on the skin care thing. I just started that during the pandemic at 33. I better keep up on it because it's the only chance I'll have at staying looking good. But idk I think you're way prettier than me

Ahh! This is the first time I have explored this other channel, and I am loving just “hanging out with you” here! 💗 I just turned 44 by the way. I love how real you are! I just started getting botox this past fall, and I can’t ever see myself going without it! Also, I just started getting treated by my dermatologist (where I get my botox) for melasma, and I swear that I will never need to exfoliate now that she gave me some compounded retinols with hydroquinone. It works so incredibly well! I have to take a break from it because you can’t use hydroquinone for more than 3 months, so she gave me a personalized serum with retinol and other AHAs to use in the meantime, and my skin feels and looks super smooth. I’ve learned that chemical exfoliation is much bettr than physical exfolliation!
