Quick & Easy DIY Burrata Recipe

Make your own Burrata at home with simple ingredients! Enjoy this mouth melting Burrata on salads and appetisers. For this you will need:
For Ricotta:
1 Ltr Milk
1/4 Cup of Lemon Juice
This will yield approx 1 cup of Ricotta
For Burrata:
1/2 Cup of Fresh Cream
1/2 Cup Ricotta
1/2 Cup Mozzarella
Hot Water
Temperature Measurer
(In case you don’t have a temperature measurer, the right time to use the water is just before it reaches boiling point)
This will yield about 2-4 Burrata’s. Enjoy

Hi I watched your video several times but my entire mozzarella melted away making a mess! So could you please recommend the brand of mozzarella and does the temperature have to be exact? Not too hot you mean

Hi Ramsha! You can use any brand.. but the important thing is it must be frozen.. so when you add frozen cheese to boiling water, the temperature of the water will reduce. Incase your cheese is not frozen, use hot water ( not boiling) which is about 75-80degree Celsius. 😊

Did not work! I tried both fresh mozzarella and fresh mozzarella. Neither one melted and stuck together. This was a waste of time and ingredients!

This recipe actually doesn’t work out when tried. Proportion told was wrong and the mozzarella was messed up. Don’t try this or you shall end up wasting your time and efforts.
