my shaft came apart just the other day, your video very well done,just what I needed, was feeling rather apprehensive but after seeing how easy a fix it is I can relax. The kit cost 201.00 bucks Canadian. JD shure knows how to sock it to you . Thanks for your video.

You are my salvation. Thank you for this post, as well as your tip on the repair kit part number. I got it off eBay, it will work well, I'm sure. The funny thing here is, your shaft just came off. In my case, I could not get the shaft off! Eventually did, with the help of Bartron Supply, a local JD dealer in northeast PA, between you and them , we got it done.

I'm about to replace my third coupler repair kit. Sometimes I get lazy when snapping that coupler onto the PTO shaft and this is the price to pay. Maybe one day I'll learn.
