I miss my P71s so I put my 2008 Grand Marquis LS on the market yesterday. Damn nice car, lightly customized, low miles, but it's not a police car. I was never happier than when I was driving my P71s. If it actually sells, I'll be buying either a Ford PI sedan/utility or a 2012-2016 Impala 9C1/9C3. I test drove a 2012 Impala and didn't really like how the 6 speed trans reacted to pedal input but they're supposed to last a long time and it was rather quick with its 14.9 1/4 mile time for being a bit of a boat. Police cars are just fun, just like the guys who buy CUCVs, HMMWVs, fire trucks, and school buses. There's something cool about these unique, commanding, stout police cars that makes them a thousand times more fun to daily. Clearing out the left lane on the highway is a major perk, especially when traveling long distance.

Love the honesty! Sometimes I just wish there was more time in the day... or maybe an extra weekend day during the week. Wow, 55K miles - that's awesome, keep it maintained and you'll be able to run that for as long as you want - you could get another 20 years out of it.
