Good job mate. When I worked in a crash shop back in the Sixties paintbooths were unheard of. In fact the cars were dusted with colour alongside the panel beaters. Enamel or Acrylic take your pick. Hours of sanding the finished panels then polishing and buffing fixed any dust. Took hours of work.

Yep....But you can buy a 20 X 10 canopy and hang plastic sheet on the sides for alot less money than that tent !

Mate, I don't know if you know or not, but by the why it looked how you painted the door's inside the workshop, just to let you know, sprinkle the floor and shut all doors, and paint it that why(and of course wear respirator), let it sit a while, then you can open the doors, to avoid any wind! Very nice quicky paint job Jeff. I think the old colour was called blaze red and it is very orangey! I love pageant blue on the B myself. A friend had a Costello V8 conversion one that ran holly carbs and a cherry bomb exhaust. Car porn alert! Sadly they are too small for me to drive 😢

You should have Taca the car with a sticky cloth , plus just before you spray wet the floor all around with a broom and you would reduce dust.

Brilliant! How much fun is it to do a project like that with your family, especially when they muck in and work as hard as your parents did? It becomes a visit everyone remembers. Great result I reckon, how much of the peel etc can be taken out by buffing/polishing? Always interested in how that part of the process can make up for small mistakes and less than perfect spraying conditions. Please, please Jeff, do something about the music...I have been a subscriber right from the beginning and have watched every video you've ever made, but the music is your biggest weakness in my opinion, it just sounds amateur and like you don't care. Look at other channels like mcm2 - two blockheads stuffing around in a shed, but it works at least in part because the music is great, which adds massively to the entertainment. I have no idea where you can get great music, but maybe put out a call to your subscribers? Anyway, I hope you take this constructively as it's intended...this channel is awesome.

Agree with you on most points, but I think comparing the quality of the music to mcm is a little unfair, Marty and Moog are both professional audio engineers and Moog makes most of the music that they use in their shows.

@@_zzpza I only used that as an example, I'm aware those guys are muso's and sound engineers. Having said that, MCM2 re-use 4-5 songs over and over and it still works. There's heaps of music on platforms like Soundcloud, Bandcamp and others that can be used for free, it just takes some time to find tracks that work. The other option is to use no music, there are a few channels I subscribe to that have none and that works because they're doing interesting stuff. Would just love Jeff to get a whole lot more subscribers because it's a great channel and he puts in a lot of effort week in week out.

A BAD, BAD mistake to change the exterior color and Not respray the boot and the engine bay. Better to live with the existing color and make the requisite adjustment to your BRAIN instead of your paint. The result of failing to do so will be an AMATEURISH job which will DECREASE the value of the car. So the work will essentially be a waste of effort, the result of a conceptual failure.
