Hi. Really good video! Like them a lot. Thank you. Can you make some short video about how to do maintenance on an fanuc robot? Like what are the main parts you need to check on manipulator and the controller. And does fanuc have some sort of maintenance window on the flexpendant?

In order to communicate using registers, you would need to use I/O Link

Very clear and detailed explanation sir, appreciate it. I got a question, For an example, I got a robot cell and I duplicate exact same cell. Is it possible for me to copy the existing .tp files and start to edit the programs? Will the program works well with minimal modification on the .tp program? since the $master_count may vary. Thank you in advance.

Yes, that's possible. There are 2 ways you can do it. You can load full backup on the second robot (and than load sysmast and other files that are connected with the second robot and should be not overwritten by the backup) or you can do it in a more save way, that is copy all TP files (you can choose just *.TP files when making a copy, check out my FANUC backup video), copy POSREG (if you are using position registers), copy NUMREG (if you are using registers), copy SYSFRAME (robot frames). Either of this method will work, definitely safer method is the second one, if you are in a rush use first one.

If you lost your mastering and robot its at home position can you use the positions from home and type them in the mastering screen to master it that way ?

Only if your Quick Master is set to home position. If not check your quick master position in variables than move to quick master are perform a quick master on a robot

I'm assuming, that your program is getting ABORTED (you can see "ABORTED" in the white information bar at the top of your screen, right next to operating mode (T1/T2/AUTO). There can be quite few reasons why. First I would check settings in CONFIG: 1. -------- CONFIG -------- MENU -> NEXT -> SYSTEM -> CONFIG Here are few options: -Restore selected program -START for CONTINIUE only -CSTOPI for ABORT -Abort all programs by CSTOPI -Return to top of program Some of those settings if set to TRUE will ABORT program, so the program pointer will move to "zero" 2. ------- Background Logic ------- There might be some program in background logic that can ABORT your program, see programs in MENU -> SETUP -> BG Logic 3. ------ PLC ----- There is also option that PLC logic is aborting robot program, by sending the "ABORT" signal It's really hard to give you answer, but you can take a look at some of those options

I'm not quite sure, is that a question ? MONT-023, is a singularity error, if you get it when you jog the robot, simply move axis 5 +/- 5 degree, if you are getting this during program execution change the path or change the motion type to joint.

If you want to start, I recommend to read FANUC manuals like "HandlingTool and MATE HandlingTool Setup and Operations" manual number "MAROBHT8304141E". You can download it form FANUC CRC website (just need to create account) or subscribe to the channel and stay updated with latest videos :-)
