Based on a question in the VDJ forum this video shows how you can use a Color Rule to highlight tracks with no cue points, so that you maybe learn which tracks need more prep work

Great post . Hey Klaus , why do you have waveforms listed in your columns? How is that useful for you ?

I only had them turned on for this video. I don't find them particularly useful

Hmmm, I have version 24b8225 and I see my cue points in the waveform when I have the waveform column active in my list... [EDIT: okay a saw another video from you - this function wasn't available at the time you recorded this video.] Can I give you feedback?: why not write down the used VDJ version into the video description when you record a video? But your color coding method is still a more obvious way to display missing cues. I - personal view - would just use this color temporary, because I use a few other colors too and don't like to have a lot of different colors when I play, because at the end maybe I can't remember what is what or can spot colors/meaning fast enough, but as a temporary setting the color filter is a good thing, I think. If you don't mind a question, I would have one, please: I saw nothing similar in the filter list for coloring tracks with a saved loop. Yes, I see the color (if given) of this loop in the waveform (in the list waveform, too), but not for a filter. Do you have any hack/idea how to color code songs with/without at least one saved loop? Have a great day & thanks for all!

Klaus or others here, for the tracks that don’t have CUE points in them, is it possible to-have VDJ automatically place a beginning CUE points on all tracks that don’t have any set?
@klausmogensen86914 ай бұрын
No, that is not a VDJ feature. And why would you want a random cue point? You can't really use it for anything... If you want an intelligently set cue point, VDJ does set remix points, but they should still be verified before use However, if you want cue points that have been set/verified by others, you can use a software like platinum notes before loading your tracks in VDJ. VDJ will then read these cue points (if enabled)

To answer your question, I didn’t want to set a random cue point. Only set beginning of a track cue point for the tracks that were not already set. Thanks for the reply!!!

@@schifo75 That is not really needed since that's where VDJ will go when no cue point is present
