I bought two of these, two of the older ones that a vacuum pump is needed. They really work great. This demo should have been with NO electrical plug at all, JUST to show people that these will run 100% from just the solar panels. I have mine connected to 4 / 455 watt solar panels, they are probably over-paneled, but that's the way I wanted it. I am going to buy one more very soon and I hope it's a newer one with the quick connects! You should let me come demo one of these, because I'm a consumer, I can tell everyone all the great things it does as well as where the DIY'er will need to really pay attention. These are MUCH better hybrid mini split units than the demo implies.
