Watching as a lay (non-sheerer) person , it’s so tough to watch the animal struggle and be scared. But seeing and knowing you are the absolute gentlest and loving sheerer puts my heart at ease. I wish I knew you both…❤

It's always nice to watch! I ask myself why the sheep's can't stand while being shaved? May you have time to answer?
This channel reminds me of a Renaissance Faire in southern California many years ago. A young woman was giving a sheep shearing demonstration with old style hand clippers with one of her sheep, and the other kept nudging her, not gently, as if to say "Do me now. Me now. NOW." To be fair, it was a miserably hot day to be wearing a wool coat. 🙂

@anng.45423 ай бұрын
I don't think she does... she listens to the sound of the clippers (making sure they don't jam) and for any sounds of actual distress coming from the animal.

Rings can be a HUGE workplace hazard. I don't KNOW this, mind, but I suspect it's safer to not wear while working. I also wouldn't be surprised if it needs resizing periodically, since hard work with hands usually changes joint shape and size 🤔🤷♀️
