Relating you thoughts and vision is priceless instruction. Will watch this many more times for long term processing. Back to the studio for me. Thanks.

Dianne, I get frustrated trying to paint all of those textures because I tend to get lost in the forest. This demonstration gives me a path. I always ended up with a green, glob of paint. I see now how to build up the layers without straying. It was fascinating watching this develop. I love how this looks. I see a gorgeous, cool, green place to explore. I’ll be watching and listening to this quick tip over and over again. I need to drill in that there aren’t leaves and trees. There’s light and shadow and texture. No need for a whole painting. I just have to pay careful attention to the instructions that are given to me. Thank you for sharing. Hugs, Julie 🥰

As always this is so helpful. Learning to use different language is helping me to draw and paint what I really see. I love learning from you. Also the last live chat was very helpful. I'm going from saying I can't draw and feeling intimidated to I'm learning to draw and it's becoming fun.The more repetition the more easily I'm learning.

I’m glad you mentioned that the live chat was very helpful even as you’re leaning to draw. I’m new to drawing/painting also. I considered joining the live chat but felt it was more for those with more experience. You’ve given me license to participate in the next one, depending on timing. Thank you.

@@canalenes I'm glad that what I said is helpful. What I believe about Dianne is that she teaches to all skill levels. She will also answer questions until the answer is understood. I've never had a prof. like her for anything I've studied. She is a joy and blessing for me. I love learning from her. I paint better than I draw but I"m getting better, actually at both. Slowly. Enjoy your process.

Thanks so much, Eve. Also for your answer to @canalenes. Yes, I try to conduct the chats and the Quick Tips for all levels. I just want all people worldwide to know that if they have the desire to draw and paint, learning how is a joy and not the mystery too many make it out to be.

@@evealton2712 She surely found her callings in art and teaching! I’ve listened to several art instructors on KZbin, but more and more found myself gravitating to Dianne’s Quick Tips. She patiently teaches the building blocks that I need. Her years of teaching experience show! I could go on and on with accolades but will keep this short. I look forward to learning more from her!

Thank you, Dianne, for arranging the content of the course Managing Effective Brushwork. There doesn't seem to be mention of videos in the content, although the directions preceding the content do allude to downloading them. Where will they appear, and are they shortened versions of Series7? Looking forward, Carol
@IntheStudioArtInstructionКүн бұрын
Carol, all that is corrected now. These videos follow the same format as all the master courses. The only thing to download are the reference photos and an occasional visual aid.

Dianne, thanks for this quick tip which is a great sequel to Foliage in the Forest. It also seems to complete some of what I understand from two of the Series 7 tutorials which I have recently have purchased. Nevertheless, I would be interested in purchasing the Academy course Mastering Effective Brushwork because I need to do some homework in an orderly fashion! Does it contain the knowldege and demonstrtions presented in all 4 of the Series &? For some reason it is the only master course which doesn't present the outline of the Content. How may I access this information? Eagerly, Carol Pinski.
@IntheStudioArtInstruction2 күн бұрын
Carol, I have change a setting so that now you can see the Mastering Effective Brushstrokes outline. Yes, all the master courses follow the same format.
