Channel 29 is also used by truckies on the Pacific hway from Sydney to Brisbane. They use this as ch 40 on this stretch of road was interfering with ch 40 on the inland roads.

Good to see more people talking about this. I've actually blocked 5 & 35 from my scan these days because I get sick of hearing people use them incorrectly. Also you didn't mentioned 29 which is used for Road Safety from QLD -Vic along the coast.

@GMEaus no dramas and hopefully. I sell stickers on my website for people to put on their windscreen so they can check. They have been quite popular. Something like that included with each new radio sold would be a great help rather than just a little note into he back of the manual that no one reads lol.
