Very cute cards and yes teachers are under, paid unappreciated and above all risk their lives to teach our kids these days😢😭😢 I worked in the school system for almost 20 yrs before becoming disabled and I have to say elementary teachers are appreciated way more than middle school teachers. Parents, principals, support staff and even students say it's such a hard job to teach that age, "I don't know how you do it ".🤯 But they're never shown how much everyone cares. As an Admin Secretary (support staff) I always tried to do something for all my teachers every holiday etc. the 16 yrs I was at the middle school. So keep that in mind when your cutie gets that age.🤗 Even most teachers at middle school age would appreciate the cuteness of those cards❤❤❤ BTW, I love how you added in all the elements, so darling. It reminds me of something I would make😊

You hit the ball out of the court on these cards, lol. They are so adorable and I know your Peanut's teachers will love them. I remember my sons Pre-school graduation as if it was yesterday, he just turned 25 last week. Like everyone says, they grow up so fast. I was always good at any physical fitness, but couldn't stand to be called upon in class even when I knew the answer. God help me when I didn't.

Sometimes i feel like the teachers of our generation had no idea how deeply they impacted our lives. It’s so true that teachers are a major formative influence on kids and I’m so thankful that this new generation of teachers seems to really get that. They’re good people - teachers!

What a beautiful cards! Thanks for the tutorial about two color blending. I'll stop cleaning my markers. 😉 Thank you for your personal story. I've been bullied for 10 years at school, and it left quite some marks. Including being afraid to stand in the centre of attention. When people tell you for such a long time that you're nothing worth, you will believe them. And even after many years of therapy it's hard. So I applaud for you, for helping these girls even though it took you so much! Girl, you hit a home run by doing that! Big hug from the Netherlands.❤

Your cards are adorable! I can really relate to your story. I have social anxiety pretty bad. I desperately want to go bowling with my family but can't because I feel like everyone at the bowling alley will be watching me! I've been married for 30 yrs and not once bowled with my husband. I just watch. Anxiety can be horrible. It can make you lose out on so many experiences. It's awesome that you stood up to your fear!

Thanks, Kelly. You included kids who look like my grandchildren in your card. You did a great job of making the hair of the little girl with the easel paper look African-American. There are so few stamps that look like my grandkids that I feel very sad that that stamp industry does not feel like ethnic kids are worth the effort of creating stamps that look like them. But you did a great job in your representation. You are wonderful!

You are my Hero Kelly! 1st these cards are Amazing! 2nd I'm exactly like you when it comes to being focused on for any reason especially sports. I got an F in gym because of that. My Mum understood but my dad not so much. Anyway it made my life alto worse because o had to go to summer school for gym & the only choices where weight lifting or swimming. It was horrible bit if the teacher didn't make me feel like crap I wouldn't have had to go through that. Now I have a 12 year old daughter who plays softball for her Middle School & I'm so proud of her! Tfs! ❤😘

Love your cute cards and I have a very similar grade school story, gym teacher, kickball, now I too am an adult who avoids all forms of organized sports. On a positive spin - it did force me take weight lifting in high school to avoid the "organized sports". I still love weight lifting.

adorable cards!! I used to be very shy, didn't like talking in front of a group of people! I moved from Kalamazoo, Mi. to Las Vegas and became a poker dealer. I was made supervisor some years later. A supervisor in a poker room has to deal with people losing their money, running tournaments, dealing with drunk people, making decisions that upset someone, stand up for my dealers and sometimes having security come to "escort" people out the door! I guess I overcame my shyness, lol!

Awesome cards & awesome story, that is terrible that a teacher crippled you for life, but you are the maker of your destiny now & hey look, even though you were in a cold sweat & about to vomit, there were ppl there that cared, those others that might have laughed or stared funny at you, who cares....I'd bet $ on it that those ppl are even more scared than you; the most important thing is you were BRAVE & accomplished a task you never thought you were capable of, so keep being brave & leading by example for those kids.

I know u are sick of hearing this, but we are so much alike it is like seriously starting to freak me out!!!! I have a huge fear of getting up in front of people too. I was at my oldest son's elementary school graduation yesterday and wanted to walk to the front as he got his diploma so i could take pictures but knew I was gonna have to walk up there while everyone else was sitting down and I was like they are all gonna stare at me and the more I thought about it, the more anxious and nervous I got.....when it came time, I somehow mustered up the courage to do it, but as I was walking up there my legs were trembling so bad I nearly fell about 5 times, I got extremely hot and sweaty, my face and neck were bright red, I got extremely nauseous and I seriously felt like I was gonna pass out!!! I somehow pulled it together though because I knew my child would never forgive me if I passed out or puked in the middle of his graduation...... hahahaha!!!! I am so prpud of you for facing your fear though!!! I would have held your hand and ran the bases with you if I had been there!!! Big Hugs!!!!

The teach took me aside...tried to convince but I wad stronger than that. Did not budge. It was pure Inhibitions ( Is it the right word?). Well. I don't dance up to this day. I can't. Anyway...this sunday there was a a school meeting ...parents and kids and we had to discuss different Dilemmas. I volunteered to sum up the discussion (which I led). I am still amazed. I am 50 now. I was a total failure in PE. I was the slowest runner in class, flinched whenever the ball came near me in softball, couldn’t do even one pull-up. When we played soccer, I split my gymsuit right up the back seam and had to walk past the football players practicing while clutching my gymsuit closed on that long, long walk back the the locker room. It was torture.

Bless you, I went to catholic school in the late 70’s and in England you could still hit children at catholic schools as they were run by the church, I was 4 years old 2nd day at school in assembly and spoke to the child next to me, headmaster dragged me out of line on to the stage and made me say the Our Father and Hail Mary in front of the whole school then slippered me, so I know what you mean, I can’t stand in front of people either. Not good when you come from a large family and there’s always a wedding, baptism, funeral etc and they want you to read at mass 😱 don’t think so

Hate to be center of attention. What happened to u Kelly was awful. What a jerk teacher. Bully! Not cool. My daughter is in soccer n softball n loves it god bless her she doesnt have those fears. But thats a sad story. Sux that happened to u. I would have defended u if i was a kid in ur class! Your cards are adorable. I made one for my daughters teacher and gave her 2 large boxes of Ferraro Roche candy (her fave) and no thank u email ..nada! And i spoke to her via email several times.
